I think Future is one of the most underrated artists in the world. People see him as another Drake, a big artist with lots of hits and no depth. But he revolutionized rap to such a degree that you can barely tell because everyone else sounds exactly like him. Beyond that, from Monster to DS2 to Purple Reign to something completely off the wall like SAVE ME, Future's artistry is so diverse and much of it is timeless. It's kind of hard to express, but there's an ethereal, darkly beautiful quality to his music that no one else really captures. I don't know how Future isn't in the Big 3 conversation because he's absolutely a better artist than two of them.

I think he is the embodiment of when hopelessness that your situation will change eventually leads to you changing. I think this is what a lot of people especially young men feel.”If my situation is messed up and won’t change no matter what. If people are still gonna hate me. If I’m still gonna lose the people I want Why change ? I’d rather keep doing what I’m good at and see where it gets me.” It’s unfortunate but the lack of options to take, lack of forgiveness to be had for others creates people like this. There is no redemption, no improvement, no empathy for you. The only thing that’s left for you to fall back on is money, drugs, women, and jewelry. So you dive head first into that lifestyle. The person that comes out of that lifestyle is not the same one that went in. This new person, is a monster…

@MargielaGAT7 ай бұрын
@@poindextertunes I think where people differentiate is that Drake switched to a Pop-Rap sound. Something easy to listen to with no real distinction. Once his 'Views' album got him household name status, pretty much everything he's done since then is basically another version of that album. Future has always had a distinct sound. He is methodical about trying new things, and is very often successful with using more alternative sounds. People like Future and Young Thug have inspired so many rappers but no one has been able to replicate what they do which keeps their sound fresh.

And then other songs, the lyrics are so simple but his delivery caries. He is a lot more complex of an artist than most people realize. He would have fallen off like Dababy, Lil Baby and others… if his sound was the same all the time. Future is very good and under appreciated when it comes to the artistic side of things. (Sorry for the lil rant lol)😂

@@g_l_o_o_m_y_y i 100% agree bro. As someone that has been producing music for over a decade and was raised in the music industry, i gotta give him his flowers. He’s a genius. I remember when Same Damn Time dropped. finding out he was making music for years before that is crazy. I think a lot of us saw him as younger than he was, and that helped him out. I thought he was the same age as YC when I heard "Racks." I appreciate the criticism that future acts younger than he is, especially with the "I never liked you" album, but it feels like he's playing a role that is 10-15 years younger than his real life.

You know that Future has truly made it to the top when fans start digging far into his musical past such as his songs “Statistics” with Big Rube. I’ve been listening to his 1000 mixtape since 2012. Only his true day one fans, up until this point, really know about that one. It has almost felt like being in the back corner of a building while the whole crowd is somewhere else, but now all of a sudden everybody has shown up to see what 1000 is all about. Shit is timeless, and Future has been a huge impact on me since before I became an adult.
