Thanks for the video!! Going to be doing this job myself. Some people are not smart. There are places to cheap out on parts. But your transmission is not one of them. Especially because that trans is a pain in the ass to get in and out of the car and its finiky as all heck.

I have never rebuilt one of these. I tried to find the specs on it and could not find it. However, I would think it would be like others. 16-20 in. lbs. I would imagine.

I have been experiencing a problem with the DQ250 gearbox for the last 10,000 km and it sounds like this: When the clutch engages there is a clunk, the gear shifts are very linear and nothing is felt I have noticed this phenomenon also when I go, in any gear, take my foot off the accelerator and put it back on, a clank is heard. I'll leave some videos below with what I'm trying to explain. I'm guessing it would be the dual mass flywheel, the car having 210k km. The dog bone and mounts are ok. Replaced the CV Joints but nothing changed. The sounds appears when you try to reproduce the noise which gets louder and louder the more you try to reproduce it Also when i'm in idle i feel sometimes some vibratians and when i put it in D, the vibration dissaperes. On VCDS there's no errors from mechatronic unit. What do you guys think?

I assume. They never came back. But then again we are talking about a used car dealer. So there is no telling what they ended up doing with the vehicle.

Hope you reply to this, i have searched online for hours to find the answer to this question. will dsg Trans code:TLK internals fit in a trans code:NLR case? whats the difference?

Probably not. If it is from the same engine family probably. The differences will be what engine it fits (bellhousing shape) and gear ratios. If all that is different is the ratios then I would say yes. I do not have any information that tells me what those codes fit. As a last resort you might try calling a salvage yard and ask them. LKQ would be a good one. I don't have their info, you would have to Google.

Was this car leaking Dsg fluid in the bellhousing because of the clutch cover?

No, the clutch was bad.

i have seat 2007 2.0tdi with same gearbox. sometimes it jerks when i m starting and sometimes in every gear but only at low rpm and when i release break it rols backwards. but this is only sometimes. other times drives like brand new no jeking no wagging and up hill i release break its holding like a champ. what could this problem be? no fault codes. gearbox has 315000 km. tywm for answear.

It is possible the brake switch is not operating properly. I would watch the status on a scanner.

ok tywm will look for that brake switch. can i look for anything any parameters? i have vcds. i bought this car a few weks ago and everything was fine but after dooing service on it started ackting up. oem oill and filter. curius thin the privius owner sead dont do service in this gearbox no need for service but wiki seas ewery 60000km, i think he put something inside i now when we changed oil its having problems. @@CurmudgeonTransmission

It's possible. That is why I don't like oil changes. Either needs to be done all the time or not at all. Look for the brake switch to show released when it is released. Some, if not most vehicles have 2 brake switches nowadays. One operates the lights and the other is signal for the computer.

what a pain in the arse.. I guess this is why the average cost of full 02E rebuild is $4000,00.. A 2004 Jetta not worth it.

Getting harder to get a vehicle without a CVT or Dual Clutch but I wouldn't have one.
