The best ever Car made by Germany . I have had a chance to own a VW Beetle 1962 . Bought this in 1965 from STC and throughly enjoyed till 1978 . I still wish to own one ❤

I was born and raised in Germany, after the war. My first car was a used 1967 VW 1500, with 44 HP! What I wouldn't give to have that simple car back.

Somebody said to me: “VW’s either you hate them or you love them”. Well, I love VW’s since I was 15 years. Now I am 69 and have restored several. Without any doubt, VW’s are the most dependable, efficient and easiest to fix car in the world. And…the oldest, the better.

my father has the same model year he's restored as well. seen that car my whole life and seen it go through like 4 paint jobs. probably the best was the last one as he had it painted silver.
