The Car is the 2014 Volkswagen e-Golf. It has a 21,1 kWh Battery and Electric motor producing 115 Ps (85 kW; 112 hp) at 3000-12000/min and 270 Nm (199 lbf⋅ft) at 0-3000/min.
It is equipped with a Single Speed transmission driving the front wheels.

Power is good enough it feels much fast then the 115hp and 270nm due to the instants and constant acceleration. But it’s not fast enough for the German autobahn and makes it difficult to overtake without blocking everyone behind

@@TopSpeedBrothers not really, the eGolf Gen II has an top speed of 150 (obviously limited 😁), on the speedo it shows between 156-158. I watched several other top speed videos, they all got these numbers. The gen 1 is 10 kph slower, so 145 on the speedo would fit. No criticism, i was just wondering and that’s why i asked 👋😁

@@erebostd Gen 1 has 115 HP and Gen 2 has 136hp. This Car has 115hp so it's Gen 1

in real electric these well ca accelerates super quickly but ... gasoline and diesel will remain on certain point always better, for example on the autonomy on the noise it will surely all be missed.😔

for cities electric but for long distance there its not a good alternative to diesel and petrol. the lack of engine noise is actually quite nice but it brings alot of new noises that you can normally not hear
