It happens to be ... my favorite car. I think VW made a big mistake in dropping it. You'll notice that Toyota and Subaru are holding on to their sedans - even in our SUV-crazy world.

Drove from Suffolk to Brighton last weekend in my 2.0TDI DSG Estate at motorway speeds and returned 56mpg. Fantastic car.

Should you buy one!? 100%! It's a tank! Had mine for 8 years, no hassle bar the odd injector need replaced. On the motorway gets 70+mpg. Peak passat 👌

Its an okay car to drive and normal upkeep is pretty cheap too, I have a 2013 model. The outside noise is not bad or noticeable. As even 2015 models are beginning to be old cars, in addition to all the cosmetic praises and pricing there could be some mention about the little problems as well. cheap and breaking lock mechanisms (driver door wont open) and a very common fault where the rear wiper fluid will leak from a broken hose into the wirings in the back and cause mayhem etc. I wont buy another one 😄

I've got the 2011 1.6tdi blue motion estate. Good car but just let me down with 4 goosed injectors. Cost me £2000+ in repairs and nearly killed my family when it died on the motorway.
