I've enjoyed so many of your videos, how did I miss the Anna series? I cannot get over how consistent Anna is, she never misses when she swings, and most balls are going in. I am learning how much I need coaching, how valuable it is...

These sessions with Anna are great! I like how you teach the swinging volley to Anna. People think it's an advanced shot, but it's a great shot for beginners to learn as well because it'll teach them ball recognition and they become more aware of the full flight path of the ball 👍

What I love about watching this lesson, is that, this wonderful coach does not care whether ANNA 😍😍, looks good with her strokes executions, but instead corrected her so that she developed solid feel and foundation for her strokes. He did not immediately asked ANNA 😍😍, to have her racket head up during the volley drills, but let her get her confidence up, only then he reminded her to have the racket head up. I totally agree with him in banning ANNA🥰🥰, from using her trademark two handed overhead shot. Thank you coach, I learn a lot watching your videos, because you keep them real.

Swing volleys I tend to slice on my forehand. I feel like a swing volley is more of a defensive shot and rather get the ball in the court and keep in play. So I rather slice it. But I’ll have my coach teach me to swing it.

Nick. are you going to work with Anna on her leg postures and feet movements? In all her videos, she has a tendency to bend her knees inward and doesn't look like she's shifting her weight quite right. There's just something odd about her movement , which in turn affects her swing.
@AS-ws2se3 жыл бұрын
I noticed that too. She starts of with a good base, but when she moves or hits the ball, she bends her knees inward more and more.
@IntuitiveTennis3 жыл бұрын
Her movement is excellent relative to her level
@sibly22243 жыл бұрын
In a different video she said she was a pro ballroom dancer. I agree that her movement appears to be unusual but I think it's just because she has exceptional balance and body control, which is something we do not see every day. She sometimes ends up on one leg, and if you look closely, you can see that she is solidly balanced.
