i want colorguard or marching bandesque. they missed out on adding something like that to highschool years. especially since halftime shows are a big part of a lot highschool experiences

Yeah even with the cheerleading they kinda dropped the ball. I loved they added it and the uniforms but even if you get sims in a group at cheerleading day and they are part of the team and have a uniform on they automatically change into their gym wear and it just looks weird. They only way to even get close to making something realistic is if you have get together and even then it’s wonky. But I agree about colorguard and band stuff, there are already so many music instruments in game so it would have been easy for them to incorporated some kind of band club or something. The class sizes are too small and different student go to school everyday, they don’t even use the upstairs rooms in the prebuilt school. They should have had at least music class or art classes that would have just added so much more to the experience. Sorry to rant I just agree with you so much

I really want REAL scuba diving (not rabbit hole) and surfing for the summer. Skateboarding is way up there for me too. It's so similar to snowboarding which we already have. I also really want ballet and tap too

If they can play ping pong tennis is definitely a possibility I so agree with you and more gym equipment. Volleyball was a wonderful opportunity for sulani but I think a game pack with them in it omg I would be happy to

Another thing id loveee to see with pools is WATER AEROBICS!! SOMETHING FOR THE ELDERS! I’m thinking it could work the way yoga works, by placing mats down on the floor of the poool??? Sims can host water aerobics classes/join them that way! In general id love to see a ceramics/pottery making skill too!!

It would be cool if they added volleyball and surfing with a hotel beach resort pack (if they ever make one). Skateboarding would've been a good addition with Growing Together or High School Years.

It seems that every pack they have missed opportunities that would have made each individual pack so much better. Snowy Escape = Martial Arts, Adding Ikebana styles to Flower Arranging, Origami, Japanese Traditional Clothing, Hibachi Stove & Recipes, Irori Hearth, Futons, Paper Fans & Umbrellas. Island Living = Scuba Diving & Dive Spots in addition to the Snorkeling, Adding Lei making to flower arranging, Surfing, Volleyball, the Hula, Large Sand Sculptures & Judging, Coconut Cocktails and other traditional Tiki mixology drinks (They literally had more mixology drinks in Vampires). Cottage Living should have had Sheep instead of Llamas, it should have had a loom for Weaving & Sewing as well as having the cross-stitch I also think Fairies should have been in this pack or been the followup game pack. Cottage Living would have been . Llamas should have been in Jungle Adventure and ridable as well as getting the wool, Archeology should have been Meso-American Archaeology and Archaeology as a skill should have been a Base Game Update, Archaeologist should have been a career and differing branches would be based upon newly introduced areas like Egyptology for Egypt and Medieval Archaeology for Cottage Living, there should have been more traps like quicksand, piranha pools, the big rolling boulder from Indiana Jones would have been excellent here, Snakes would have been a good choice here as well, finally I would have added Cocoa Tree & Chocolate making. Don't get me started on Outdoor Retreat there was a lot of missed opportunities there. Even dome of the kits would be better if they just added one or two things the castle kit would have been worth it even at $7 if they added stone spiral staircase, working drawbridge and a few banners and flags.

You are so correct and I love all of these ideas. Someone described the sims 3 & 2 as “made with love” and that the sims 4 is lacking that and now that’s all that I can think of. The amount of content they made base game in 2 & 3 and the amount of depth they put into their packs was so incredible and made the world and the sims feel so fleshed out and fun and crazy. Sims 4 just feels so hollow 😢 I love the sims 4 so much, and because I love it I want so much better for it.

@@elisabethzosaustin7442 Now don't get me wrong Sims 4 has some well executed packs, Vampires springs to mind immediately, but even that was minus cemeteries. The things I noticed the most is that the packs where they split the theme of the pack like Snowy Escape they only give just enough of each major theme to make you miss what could have been if they had simply done two different packs. Snowy Escape would have been better in a European Winter Destination and the Japanese Aspect would have been better in …Japan. They could have delved really deep with the Japanese theme (the things I suggested) and other things like a traditional Ryokan Inn. The Winter destination could have had more Ski-Mountain activities like Pre-ski parties, Ski Chalets, Cross-Country Skiing, Ice Fishing etc. The other major problem is they send out incomplete or problematic releases.

I want pottery, ballet, pool table first but tennis, golf and skateboarding are def stuff id want to see. We need an expansion dedicated to HOBBIES! I want one that’s the whole theme of it. Add in cars to it with a car related career (2 branches, one is a mechanic and the other is car salesman) , mechanic skill so you work on cars like in sims 2 and is useful for the career and if I can dream bigger, sell cars as a retail so if you want to own your own car dealership. It would be such a good expansion pack, why can’t they :( i want all of this so much.

I’m more of a summer-type person, so I would say surfing. Because my simself’s friend from Sulani (Hawaii) loves surfing. And too bad it didn’t make it to Island Living.

I'm seeing tons of great ideas posted here. I agree with so many, especially with Golf and Pottery/Ceramics. I would like to add that it would be awesome to see pet birds of all kinds, cockatiels, budgies, macaws etc.. that they could actually ride around on the sims shoulder or head. Where your sims could really form a bond with their bird. Just an idea!

I always put in a summer vacation on the calendar for kids and teens, but then I get so bored with them doing the same things over and over. Great time to improve skills, but I agree we need more activities! ❤

You know what? They could make some of these activities like the active careers. Just choose to go on your phone or your computer. It could take you to a place with its own lot (like the hospital or actor studio) where you can play a round of mini golf, or play volleyball, or an amusement park. They could sell each one in its own kit or stuff pack, since I know their little greedy paws can’t resist. But then they wouldn’t have to make a new world each time or add a bunch of stuff to the game.

That would be great. The worlds for these activities don't have to be huge just a place for them to go. Like magnolia park. Damn even a sixam, forgotten grotto would suffice as long as you have a new activity.

Surfing would be neat. Beach houses, surfing competitions, npc's surfing, water skiing, a cabin cruiser that holds more than 1 seat. 9:32

Tennis is definitely one sport that could be done right in the sims 4, but would require still lots of works... its more than just ping pong and look at the ping pong gameplay, very basic. so I dont know. Same goes for volleyball another sport easy to do, in fact, may be even easier than tennis. Can you imagine beach volley! That would be so good.

I really want tennis, volleyball ( also for the pool), actual soccer game play,waterslides of various shapes and design, also I would loooove a skate park even though in real life I don't like it. But skateboarding in the sims is so cool and I love using the mod for this. I wish they would add more activities in the worlds they give us as well not just adding the function. Adding it to the world so sims can randomly go play basketball, skateboard park, volleyball and even tennis courts around the worlds for sims to do, other than just walking around not able to do anything. I know this is off topic but... I would love for the shells they make in the worlds to be edited ( like an apartment in san myshuno) you can edit the inside to be whatever so the sims can enter and have game play, rather than just a empty shell only for filler in the worlds.

I wish we could have ballet as a fitness activity or a functional dance studio since sims can dance, and also add hula dance with outfits, that'll be so awesome! But, this is EA so, we're just having wild dreams here 😢

I sometimes watch your videos and wanted to say that TS1 had volleyball. This next bit is a list of, Things from TS1, TS2 and TS3 that are not in TS4, that I have compiled. There may be more, but I haven’t played The Sims (2, 3, and 4) in a very long while and TS1 even longer: 1. Spiral Staircases (TS1, TS2 and TS3) - they would work perfectly in small and tiny homes as well as curved wall spaces and just in general. TS1 even had wrought iron one while TS2 only had that in the modular staircase. This would be great for the 10th anniversary. 2. pool tables (TS1, TS2 and TS3) 3. pinball machine (TS1, TS2 and TS3) 4. Pool Slides (TS1, TS2 and TS3) 5. Proper Diving Boards (TS1, TS2 and TS3) 6. dog houses because they were in TS1, TS2 and TS3. Also dog beds like they were in TS2 and TS3 7. Proper Arcade machines: claw machine (TS3), arcade basketball (TS3 store), Table top arcade (TS3 & TS3 Store), Skee ball (TS3), ones like the Smack-A-Gnome! (TS3) (there were also some from TS1 like that), the Zoltar Fortune Teller type Machine (TS1) and just regular size machines like the ones from TS1, TS2 and TS3 - This could also work in an Arcade and Carnival game pack, or an Arcade kit with a base game update of a new lot type Arcade and an arcade lot trait. If you have the Bowling Night SP, the lot type could work well with that, so you don't always have to have the lot type be lounge. They could add a bowling alley lot trait to Bowling Night, and this could be added to any community lot where you want bowling. If someone had seasons, they could have a roller rink and bowling alley on the same lot, and could be a good option for a party. The same thing could be said about an arcade lot trait. Taking certain lot types having a lot trait version, in addition to their type, and allowing community lots to have more than 3 lot traits, would be one way to have multiple businesses on one lot. You would choose your base lot type and then the extra lot traits, say 2, could be special ones for things like bowling alley, arcade, cafe, bar, etc. 8. something Golf related: mini golf (TS1), Execuputter (TS2), Golf Driving Range (TS3) 9. Urinals (TS1, TS2 and TS3) 10. Hotels (TS1, TS2 and resorts in TS3) 11. Train sets (TS1, TS2 and TS3) - In TS3 they were for fairies only. 12. Landline Phones (TS1, TS2 and TS3)

There's a mod for the golfing stuff, by Balkanika or Cepzid (spelling?) part of the lets get fit group of mods. Ditto skateboarding if I remember correctly. Would love for volleyball, tennis, basketball, and hockey as well as pool/billiards.

They should make an expansion pack named ‘missed opportunities’ and put all of the things that SHOULD be in other packs in. Like strollers, bands, hotels, etc.

Who knows maybe some of this stuff will be in the upcoming Romantic Expansion Pack since they can be date activities. I'd love Pool Basketball since I've played that in a pool at a waterpark.

More dance types and non rabbit hold classes (ballet, tap, ballroom, etc) and an aspiration to master multiple styles. Pool tables! And I want to be able to hustle simoleons while I play. Bring back mini golf and the indoor golf game. Surfing. Kites

I've wanted so many activities but Sims 4 always fall short. I want to see team sports like volleyball and soccer that actually work as team sports. I do want things like ballet, gymnastics, golf and martial arts. I've given up on good content

I recently did LilSimsie"s llama shell challenge. I turned it into sports bar and realized a sand volleyball court would have been perfect for outside. I had to settle for a basketball court which just felt weird. lol

Golf course might be real as there is a spot in willow creek that has a golf course. There’s also a casino and oasis Springs. You can also find the golf flag in debug I think a hobbies and sports pack is possible

Thank you so much for covering that up fantayzia! Soccer would absolutely be a wonderful thing, but an extensive work, whereas just passing around with the family should be a more simple thing to add to the soccer object⚽. Tennis, badminton / speedminton / Frisbee 🎾🏸🥏 could be done more easely in the same way how sims play american football in the Highschool Pack. Those activities I have been expected for Growing Together. For golf⛳ I could image a whole new world, where the sims are able to play in the surroundings. There could be some minigolf, a stadium (could be a rabbithole with cheering fans - would be enough for me). For some tournament / olympic addons it should be a podium to celebrate the winners. A running trail that goes around a sport place, where sims normally play ball sports or running a hill, thinking about trail runnning, trail biking, skydiving ... . For horses I would love to see sims vaulting on them. I believe indoor sport activities are more diverse than outdoor sports wherefore I think rabbithole interactions would be realistic in game with an interactive sports hall. Therefore it would be awesome if we would be able to form our own sport teams by choosing our teammates. They could train together and talk about their goals ... There are so many things that could be covered up in a "Sports Gameplay Pack" such as new careers! Besides I have tried to mod my favorite ball sport handball, but the ball isn't showing up when playing the animation in game😑. Currently I try to realize my sports app. On the other hand there are some good ball sport 🏐⚽mods and skateboarding by cepzid and waronk out there.
