Guys, AVERY SKINNER BROUGHT THE THUNDER⚡⚡⚡⚡ When I saw her in VNL and quals, she really stood out as the potential go-to terminator this team has been sorely lacking. Only 6'1", but she GETS UP, and has this ability to hit OVER the block, and with authority! No other USA hitter has demonstrated this ability. Karch seems to recognize this as well. Forget Larson, and Cook. They are excellent players, but not effective/consistent terminators. Skinner/ Plummer Drews/Thompson FTW 😎😎 Also, you're WRONG about Skinner 'fading' in the 2nd game. She had 5 pts in Game 1 (tied for most pts), and then 7 pts in Game 2 (again, tied for most pts). And consider that Game 2 was a blow-out (shorter game with fewer total pts played), which makes those 7 pts even more impressive. And she had some of her best spikes towards the END of the 2nd game, with a thumper to end the game. Also consider that, when they started Larson instead of Skinner in the 3rd game, the USA looked HORRIBLE for the first half of game 3. It wasn't until Karch started making substitutions that the USA was able to finally right the ship. The only reason Karch started Larson in the 3rd was to get her some play-time. USA was CRUISING up until the 3rd.

@@JimHinCO Definitely not a troll. Poland had an injury that the USA team did not exploit well enough and had their worst serving game of the Olympics. Still proud of them but they choked, period. Thats my opinion, state yours.
