Imagine how different our ranking would have been if we had taken care of business in Fayetteville. Vandy is going to be fired up knowing they can beat us if we don't bring our "A" game. I'd really hate to see us slide to the Music City Bowl.

There should be no one with ties to any of these schools on playoff/tournament committees. It is a conflict of interest and something shady happens with it every year in basketball, and now football.

I am a UT Grad, class of '75. It is hard to take but the powers making the decision don't have any love for the Vols. If we have 4 or 5 two loss SEC Teams, we are gonna get the poorest ranking possible. We really need Miami to keep SMU out of our way. I think Florida has a reasonable chance against the Rebels after all Kentucky thumped em. Regarding the next two weeks, take no team for granted anywhere. NIU and Vandy had two great upsets this season. I could see a Minnesota or Auburn turning someone on their ear, beware the transfer portal era is different. GO BIG ORANGE!!!

Tennessee definitely needs Ohio State to win if Indiana wins that game it would be disastrous for our playoffs hopes. No way OSU falls out of playoff contention with 2 losses.
