Important note to Altered Nola: at lower investment (other weapons included) Altered Nola can actually significantly surpass Volt Nola in damage output, so keep an eye out for that.

Exactly! That's why I didn't cover Volt Nola on my f2p/Low spender vid. Altered Nola on low investments is undeniably stronger than most meta comps.

So after all that which is best team comp for dmg? The game really needs to take in the complexity of the combat it’s getting way to in-depth when all people want to do is smack and kill stuff not do 50 different inputs to get maxing dmg

In the main meta rotation for Nola-Mimi-Rei comp, The Link Slash trigger that has 3500% damage has a 20-second cooldown right? Why not do x4 Basic Attack rotations, and just do x1 Link Slash (hold attack) at the end to trigger the 6 stacks... Since Basic Attacks are empowered, while you can't trigger 6 Stacks every time (because of the cooldown) right?

What you say makes complete sense and I thought that was how it was supposed to go at first (same with Altered Nola) but with volt superspeed mode's uptime being only 18 seconds there's not enough time to squeeze x4 basic attack chains. Moreover, most of the damage from volt Nola actually comes from the explosion of linked slash. It's not written anywhere on her kits (I think) but triggering linked slash for Volt Nola resets the overload stack "effect". You can clearly see this when you try it on the cactus. You'll see your overall damage jumping once the explosion from linked slash connects.

Since fiona is on the team it would actually benefit you more if you use her 4pc since there's extra effects you get when her weapon is equipped.

u could have used anka over mimi (mimi has 20% volt dmg buff and 15% final dmg while anka has 35% final dmg but u can use anka trait for 15% more final dmg which is 9% over rei trait)

How does linked slashes work?

Basic Attacks (tap attack) get you stacks, maximum of 6... Then you trigger those stacks using Slash Attack (hold attack) to trigger the 3500% Damage. Though the trigger has a cooldown of 20 Seconds, so I don't know why he was doing it after every basic attack rotation x3. I guess it's easier that way, but alternatively you can do x4 Basic Attack Rotations and 1 Hold Attack to trigger the stacks

If you're Frost and pulled for Nola you could build a pepega volt comp with Nola, equip your Frost gears and kits and still deal significant volt damage 😂

Nope. I'm F2P (not a single cent spent) and I'm enjoying the game to the fullest. A good example is the altered team mentioned, even with triple a0 it's a very decent comp

@@mas1n5 Not at all! But you don't need to in order to complete all the content, including tougher stuff like FCE. As I said before, a triple a0 altered team, with F2P mats is enough. Btw these last months they are handing out proofs of purchase like never before. That's the materials you need to buy mats from permanent characters, including the ones recently added like Liu Huo. So getting good mats is now much easier. Without spending a single special voucher or dark crystal
