Thank you Pixel Dan and all of those who do these kinds of reviews. I already have Green lion and I am going to get black lion on Monday. I don't care if what other people say, I am going to get all these lions and form Voltron. And People should be grateful. I think it's a good set and a little cheeper.

Thanks for the great review. I was on the fence about buying this, but after seeing how the articulation was limited, how unbalanced he was, and that there really didn't seem to be a lot of diecast used, I'm going to pass.

great review. I picked up the set before I knew about the 5 pack. Still nice for a small Voltron, but the wings on his back doesn't have hinges like the picture on the back of the box so it is lacking the wing pose-ability. Dan, do you have any info in the Classic Voltron lions that Playmates is doing? I've seen the preorder on BBTS. Is it combiners and maybe the same scale as the Legendary scale Voltron?

Playmates is my favorite toy manufacturers so when i see toys like this that look cool when in one form but oddly balanced in another its kinda upsetting. =(

these are bad!! Feet don't hold at all and elbows are useless, got these on clearance for $20 and still disappointed, get the non transforming one

Lack of articulation is unacceptable in today's toy world. No waist swivel, no movement at the hips than forward/back. For the money it should absolutely have more to him.

Interesting but terrible execution and the cost of these is insane! LOL I thought they would be like 6-8 each but nope... here in Canada they're asking close to 30 a piece! HAHAHAHAHA No. I mean come on, the damn thing barely stands up. What the hell are they smoking over there at Playmates? I mean if they're going to advertise all this die cast stuff too they should be ALL die-cast metal. Specially for that price. If a hotwheel can be a dollar and have metal, there's no reason for these to be so damned expensive.

youtubasoarus damn, though I'm not getting this set as well. If this were figuarts, playarts kai or SoC I would understand the price but for a simple set with little die-cast and no other accessories its price is steep.

Sounds like false advertising to call them the die-cast versions, when only 15- 20% of the toy is die-cast. Pretty weak.

This set is crap. Playmates cheaped out so much. No head articulation and the wings are hollow out with no hinge joint to spread them. Too many corners cut for a $70-80 nine inch figure. Pixel Dan, this was not an honest review.
