Hi Geoff, recently watch a blog on 15 min Cities and I was dumbfounded that this is a real thing, I was just totally taken aback and now worry if this is the future I think we are all Fecked, sorry if you have covered this topic as I have yet to go through your back catalogue but I have watched loads thus far. @@ryanwilliams6526 for the wallet I’m not sure. Maintenance and fuel costs aren’t free. Usually buy a car at 3 years old and selling it at 5 years old, let’s you lose the least amount of money. Especially when you buy it at a dealer with warranty. And sell it online. You have better ride comfort, reliability and fuel consumption. You can buy it with cash, without the government knocking on your door, compared to new ones where they want you to fill out forms when you pay more then €20.000 and when buying second hand you can tell the dealer to put 19.000 on the invoice. And the rest for his own pocket. If he had a T5R in yellow I would certainly have found it more interesting.

@@ernestoditerribile I'm not sure if KZbin has deleted your comment, but it seems to have disappeared. I can still see it from the notification link though. You have to pay maintenance and fuel costs on all cars, and whilst an old car may have more wrong with it (although that depends on how well it's been treated more than age) you do tend to find that parts are cheaper for old cars and they're far easier to work on. Also, I can't see how buying a car at 3 years old and selling at 5 lets you lose the least, as there will be a considerable loss in depreciation in that time. I'd rather buy at 10-20 years old when they will depreciate no further. I'm not convinced on better ride comfort or fuel economy either. My Dad has mainly used Ford Scorpios for the last 17 years, and even though I've been in many new cars, none come close in terms of comfort, as manufacturers fit stupidly low profile tyres and focus on handling over comfort now. In fact, my base model Rover 200 is more comfortable than any new car I've been in. Also, my Dad has a 2003 Volvo S60 D5 (none of the emissions rubbish that cars have now), and that will do 40+ MPG everywhere and well over 50 on a motorway. Very few new cars will do that now.

Rear crankshaft main bearing oil seal if I remember correctly. I dropped some seal revive in the engine and it stopped the leak.

Mine had a mystery oil leak for years and it turned out to be the turbo drain tube seal/gasket. About £10 worth of bits and half an hour and it was sorted. Looks like your intercooler is full of oil too

Usually because the PCV system gets blocked and over pressurises the crank case, blowing through the rear oil seal.

Simon is correct diamond cut wheels are crap .Clear lacquer does not stick to bare diamond cut aluminium .Only epoxy primer or etch primer sticks to alloy .

I suspect the Triumph was "Tested" wink wink, as I believe you can't remove a personal plate from a car without a valid MOT...? Technically it would Tax and MOT exempt anyway, just not roadworthy 😄

UNTIL the cops are sat behind you, and see a green EV "ZERO EMISSIONS" number plate, on an ICE vehicle, complete with an exhaust pipe, you know what the cops are like, "they will think, you have that green EV zero emissions number plate, to obtain cheaper parking rates and to enter ULEZ areas for free",

If the green stripe is the only thing determining whether or not free parking is applied then there will be huge problems with green liveries on vehicles. In any case, the green sticker is designed to promote the use of EVs ... so my argument would be "I'm simply helping the government to promote electric vehicles even though I can't afford one, Officer".

@@BlackLines the green stripe is NOT used to promote EVs, its their to notify authorities that the vehicle is a ZERO EMISSIONS vehicle, which would be exempt from paying things like, entry into any ULEZ, the London congestion charge zone and getting discount parking rates, (the colour of the vehicle has got NOTHING to do with its number plate) and ANYONE abusing the ZERO EMISSIONS number plate rules, can be fined anything up to £1,000.
