I was speaking to a tech at the local dealership the other day and he said the 2017 cascadia has over 3,000 sensors on The truck and the new ones now 2021 have over 5,000 electronic inputs the ecm reads. That’s insane how many things can break on these new trucks.

Can be clogged up dpf filter , can be clogged up dpf differential pressure sensor , can be bad or loosen wiring connector, bad dpf wiring, exhaust system leaks and many others that can lead to this symptom! You need to use Tech toll to run a service Regen and watch all parameters, will give you an idea in where to look more exactly!

Salut. De ceva timp mi-a aparut la bord un martor si clipeste, vrea regenerare parcata. Stiu sigur ca este un senzor de vina care nu mai functioneaza. Cum imi dau seama care senzor este de vina sa il schimb? Multumesc anticipat pt sfat.

Salut, fara diagnostica nu o sa poti stabili daca este problema intr-un senor , doi , sau poate niciunul, sigur daca nu e ceva evident , vri-un cablu electric rupt sau alta deteriorare fizica, la fel poate cere park regen daca filtru deja e prea batut si regenerarea pasiva nu a reusit sa arda builu-upul din DPF filtru si la fel pot fi si alte probleme! Nu e neaparat sa fie vri-un sensor!

It’s that possible to replace that sensor to prevent build up soot and getting clogged (mine is 1.2 million km)?Seems like easy job and not expensive!And if the answer is Yes, do we need a calibration with Tech tool or not?I know that for nox sensors we need calibration or so. Replace the dps and remove dpf filters and go to the shop to clean them First, if can't be cleaned, replace them🔧
