Thanks, really helpful. One suggestion, getting more light up in there would have made it better, but this is the most useful instruction on this job I've seen. My 2006 V70 says change the filter every 120K. Hoping this will fix intermittent stalling I'm getting.

Thanks! I realized that I had lights behind me in filming after the fact. Sorry about that.

1:03 "Push Pin Pliers," seems to be what Harbor Freight calls them. Part of their Pittsburgh line.

Thanks for adding that

Changing the fuel filter at reasonable intervals is sound advice for those cars with fuel filters. That used be part of of the 30k service on many cars, in any case.

I remember those days. Volvo went from 60, to 90, to 120 on many of their models, but the filter part numbers stayed the same. I am OK with 60 on these as they are very large. Any more than that and it's got to be getting gummed up.

I just replaced the fuel filter on my 2005 volvo fuel filter! Still won't work I'm assuming it is the fuel pump

I certainly wouldn't watch ANY of my videos on either channel with a cell phone. I watched it on my 21 inch monitor and can see everything.

What good responses telling people to watch it on tv or a monitor when most people watch car repairs on their phone 😂🎉 this channel is going places

I think most places cut corners on stuff. They try to get the price down lower than the other places, even if it means leaving something out. I guess they figure if you have an issue, you will call them and they will get a second shot at making money off of you. Because they will charge you for pickup and delivery plus for the work and you can bet they will try to find everything and anything else to ding you with on that bill. I don't trust many of the places anymore.

No doubt. Add to that the prices that have blown through the roof, and there will be a lot more neglected cars on the road these next few years.

Thank you. Question, please --What prevents gas from pouring out of the full fuel tank when you disconnect the lines? Also, I will take a slightly dim view of the filter area over a shakey one any time. Nicely done.

The fuel pump is in the tank, when it is not working, it will not push gas past it.
