The s90 is one of the most beautiful sedans i have seen under 1 crore . Its exterior as well as interior feels and looks extremely premium , subtle and elegant . Volvo s90 , bmw 7 series , mercedes s 450d , defender 110 are on my dream list which i want to own and experience in the future .

Also one question. Planning to purchase. Volvo s90 vs Lexus es300h vs Lexus NX overtrail vs BMW 6GT vs BMW 330li . Which do you recommend. Requirement. Good performance but also comfortable on long trips with air suspension level comfort. And has to go up to 230km/hr

I have booked a Volvo S90 which is likely to be delivered soon. As regards the ground clearance, the S90 comes with a GC of 152 mm with 18 inch wheels (245/45/R18). However, to avoid belly scraping, I have upgraded to a Volvo approved size of 245/35/R21 which would take the ground clearance to 165mm from 152mm. Please let me know your views on whether the increased GC of 13mm will allay any concerns of belly scraping even at a higher speed ? Also, I request you to make a video on how to take on a Bumper in an angled manner as mentioned by you multiple times in the video. Thank you.

Should certainly help, although now the ride quality might suffer. Honestly, the upside wasn't really needed. I guess you did it for looks and not for ground clearance 😉 Still, I shall make a video for you on taking the humps at an angle 😃

@@NewsXAuto I have done it only for Ground Clearance, not for looks. 245/35/R21 is a size approved by Volvo and the Wheels and Tyres are also sold by Volvo. So nothing is aftermarket. Infact, in foreign markets, Volvo is giving 19s and 20s as Factory Wheels so shouldn't affect ride quality too much however, in rural areas, additional GC would really help. Please share your views on this. And thank you so much for agreeing to make a video on how to take an angled approach while taking on bumps in a low slung car.

@@nirajvashi9471 it's not about aftermarket at all. It's about unnecessary expenditure for little to no gain. The developed markets get larger wheels as stock because they don't have such bad roads 😃 That's why they don't mind the change in ride quality that much. Now, ground clearance isn't as big a concern at high speeds as damaging your rims is! Also, how much did the upsize cost? And did the dealer subtract the amount of the stock wheels and tyres?

@@NewsXAuto Cost of upgrade is about 1.5 lacs per wheel without buy back. I successfully negotiated for buy back of Stock Tyres. Increase of GC to 165mm would bring the car at par with the other Indian made Sedans which are made keeping in mind the Indian road conditions that's why I opted for the upgrade. Hitting and damaging car's underbody would be far more damaging for a luxury car than damage to the rims. I am also installing Alloygator rim protectors to minimize Rim damage.

@@nirajvashi9471 Like I said in the video, the ground clearance isn't an issue. And despite the upsize, you would still have to be careful on humps and bad roads. The other sedans you are referring to are not as long as this one. The longer the car, the higher its chances are to scrape. That 13 mm increment won't help you if you hit a bump at high speed. And at low speeds, even the stock ride height suffices. Essentially, you spent a lot of money for not much gain. That said, if you're happy, that's what matters in the end 😃 And where are you based?
