Volvo FH 540 has 890000 kms still like brand new. I love the new design and hope they didn't change much around engine as they say if it's not broken it doesn't need fixing :D that would be the Volvo FH and FH16. Thank you Volvo for making the best and the most comfortable trucks well done as far as i know pulling road trains across Australia. Addition to the original comment: and the most reliable!

no changes to mechanics from what I know, only the bogie, frontbeam has a few small changes, and a few wiring changes but the rest is only the cabin that's different

Loved working on a 8x4 FH600 volvo. But the biggest pain on it was a tiny 300l fuel tank that could be emptied in less than 200km with the load's i had to run with (about 54t in mountainous land) and the bed being a bit small for my shoulders.

Its very good truck, but their's a lot of things to be better when you are 1 week or 10 days on the road... The laterals lights are too bright high 🔆 even in low position of the brightness. I need to can to cut it or control the brightness Again it's a super truck thanks. The old generation was good enough , but this Gen 2021 is better .. good job , But there's of things to make better . Very good job , but... Not Perfect

"The new cab" Is it really new though? I've looked at a bunch of pictures and sure the FM's have gotten new cabs but as for the FH i'm struggling to find an aspect of the actual cab design that is all new. Sure new headlights and a new grille and some interior features but the actual cab itself is still the same isn't it? It's much like what happened to the FH16 back in 2008... A facelift.
