I'm as former V90 Cross Country owner think that it's the best car I ever owned (today I own 911 and top spec Volvo xc90).

People who own wagons certainly love them. There's just not enough people here in North America that love them.

Greetings from Denmark I drive a 1996 volvo 850 2.3 T5 station wagon on a daily basis, I've put 300,000 kilometers on it in the 23 years I've had it, it's now done 437,000 kilometers and I love it, it still drives like a new car. So it's a shame that Volvo doesn't sell estate cars here in Denmark anymore, because they are really practical in everyday life.

Thank you for the insight. I wasn't aware that there were European countries where Volvo didn't sell estate vehicles, and I share your frustrations.

I'm one of the few who still loves wagon. I drove an Allroad and switched to an SUV, but I never felt the comfort, the fun and the practicality of a wagon in my SUV. I'm hoping to make a switch again, looking at you v90, and I know I won't regret it. Thanks for the short revisiting! ❤

One thing I have come to understand is that while wagon lovers may not be as plentiful as they once were, those who are, are truly dedicated and will always be. I can see that includes you as well... Thanks for commenting!

I want a V90 CC - love them! I’ll probably have to go pre-owned due to the high price. But that’s ok with me. Great video- Thanks!

Thanks for the kind feedback. They're a lovely ride, aren't they?!

V90 Cross Country looks soooo good. Bring back the wagons! Just got myself a used V90 CC, forget the ugly SUVs, they all look pretty much the same 🤮

Sometimes it's good to stand out in a world full of nothing but the same.

I had a 2002 Ford Focus wagon and loved it. I wish we still had the option of small wagons
@TheNovakReport6 ай бұрын
Indeed! The VW Golf Wagon was another example of a small wagon that should still be around. But alas...

We're considering a used V 60-90 for my wife as we speak.

That's a good idea. And you'll enjoy being distinctively different than all the SUV owners out there. :)

You didn’t mention the Subaru Outback, based on the Legacy sedan. It is not a luxury vehicle and is the most popular wagon and one of the most popular cars sold today.
@TheNovakReport6 ай бұрын
Yes I did. You just had to keep watching. I even mentioned a brand new model launching as a 2025 which is a wagon but not called a wagon.

SUVs and Crossovers seem to be a fashion and a bit of an arms race in height. To me they are bulky and provide less interior space for the footprint. The load sill is typically much higher, load length compromised and load height likewise. If they did a Lexus version of a Crown wagon based on the sedan not the crossover mess, then that would be great, and not a “sport”/AMG. I am an old gut who wants comfort on long journeys. Oh, and please, fit some glass. I want to see out.

I was at a dinner recently with a number of fellow auto journalists as well as some auto executives from a European automaker. We began discussing the cyclical nature of vehicle design preferences, and I am of the view (which wasn't universally shared but wasn't dismissed outright) that we will soon come to a saturation point with crossovers/SUVs. When that happens, there will be a desire to size down and we may once again see a renewed interest in wagons or vehicles that look and feel like wagons, but are called something different. Looks like a duck, quacks like a duck...

Eric, that is a beautiful vehicle. What is the towing capacity if any on that?
@TheNovakReport6 ай бұрын
Towing capacity is 3,500 lbs when equipped with the Towing package.
