Thank you very much! I had ordered a scanner, then cancelled the order and used this procedure. The only thing that wasn’t obvious (to me anyways!) was that the parking brake must be released to start the procedure. Thanks again.

Thanks for sharing such great info. It perfectly worked for XC90 2020 especially important things, you gonna turn off “Auto Activate Parking Brake” before try this

Confirmed this works on a 2020 V60 cross country as well. It has the twist knob not the button but the procedure is the same. Thank you so much for this video!

Thanks for the video. I am following the instructions but the parking light does not flash after following the steps and the parking brake motor does not disengage. Additionally, my car has “PARK”. It does not have the red “P” in a circle. I have a 2019 XC 40 momentum T4. What might i be missing.
