I’ve been a Volvo customer since 2002. Four XC70s and currently an XC90. Every vehicle has exceeded my expectations. I’m looking forward to purchasing this wonderful vehicle. 370+ miles per charge. What more could anyone ask? The only downside may be that I’ll have to stop for a while on my many road trips to charge up. Initially I saw this as a negative; now I see it as a way to encourage me to enjoy my surroundings and appreciate the time spent in new places. Can’t wait to get mine.

My first Volvo was an Amazon, followed by P144 , P1800, 244, 740, 760, 850, S60 and end on S80 last serial model. These took me 50 years of my life and even if I had other cars, Volvo has always been my favourite in all aspects. Design, technology , safety and comfort ... the interesting thing about it, on the comfort I recall that on 144, and 145, I had plastic all over... later changed for textiles leather and plastic, and now recyclable textile and sustainable plastic materials. My congratulation to Volvo Cars to achieve such late serial models, and specific this EX90, which maybe is not for my days, but it looks and extreme interesting model, at least to try out. Thank you Volvo.

I just traded my 2021 Volvo V90 CrossCountry! I found it too large and clumsy of a car to be comfortable to park and maneuver. I would have bought a V60 except the dealer only had the low life ones in stick that had the cheap vinyl interior! I ordered and received after 19 weeks my 2023 Volvo S60 Ultimate Bright Plug in Recharge, it is a much more reasonable sized car and easy to maneuver.

I agree! Why make your new Flagship vehicle a three seater 7 passenger SUV? This new car has great new technologies (that they did not include on my brand new 2023 Volvo S60 Ultimate Plug in Recharge which I find inexcusable) but it is a SUV, way too large for normal everyday driving and maneuvering, and the base MSRP is out of reach of the average Volvo customer!

Welcome to the club!!! I ordered a new 2023 Volvo S60 Ultimate Plug in Recharge that is made in the new Ridgeville, South Carolina plant which also makes the Volvo XC90. I waited over 5 months for my new car, while the two Volvo dealers here had been receiving 2023 XC90’s for over two months! NO ONE COUKD EXPLAIN why the plant was busy producing inventory XC90’s but not customer ordered S60’s!!! The answer is profit! The XC90 has a much higher MSRP price by $20,000 than my S60 Ultimate Plug in Recharge and has more profit for both Volvo and the dealerships, so my customer order was low priority!!! I have never waited this long for a new car in my entire lifetime!!!

Looks stunning 👌🏾 but sad about the transition of the car turning into an electronic gadget, curious about the true environmental impact of ripping the earth apart to extract the raw material needed for all these batteries and the financial impact for the consumer in managing these car batteries. I’ve heard horrific replacement costs of batteries just after 5 years. We own a Honda purchased in 2002 and still going and never spent the amount of a new car in repairs and maintenance.
@geoffreycarter39812 жыл бұрын
i suspect that the environmental impact is disastrous, but in our lifetimes at least, western politicians can farm the dirty work off of mining to China and whoever else wants to make the money, while they take credit for saving the environment by pushing electric cars down our throats.
@milj28312 жыл бұрын
I work for a company that tracks battery degradation in EVs. Battery failures are incredibly rare and when they happen are often replaced under the vehicle warranty, no different to an ICE vehicle. We are seeing the majority of 2015 Tesla Model S vehicles still achieve over 90% of their original range after 7 years and expect them to retain over 85% much longer than the typical age of a vehicle in the US (12-13 years).
