I have a 2011 XC60 3.2l. I had a bad grinding noise on the right side of the engine. The noise went away when I put the car in drive and in reverse. I replace the torque mount which was bad and it did not solve it. Directly underneath this part is the torque strut mount. I replaced it as well and it solved the grinding sound. Thanks for a great video

Thanks Yuri for this video. So as I understand this a part that we are supposed to change regularly? How often please? And what happens if we don't? What could be the consequences? And last question which has nothing to do with all that; have you tested cleaning additives against carbon build up? Would you be interested to test some and give us your opinion? (I know disasembling as you did is better but it is way out of my skills.). Greetings from France.

Not interested? don't have time for it? don't know which one to choose?...? the thing is it's very difficult to find well made tests, with objective study and results, that's why I'm asking you... when you show and say something it's factual so I'm interested in you approach on the subject...

I have a V70 T6 AWD 2009 which is on 136000 miles and just started to have a hydraulic tappet noise on startup when leftover night. Then is quite all day. Seems a hell of a job and not sure if it is worth doing can you advise if this will last

You should try the iPd version! The part is expensive but it gives better feeling of the engine and less strain on the TF-80SC. Has it on my S80, it is great! Though, my original part was fine at 130 000km, I thought Corteco was making this part, not Febi. Now I'm lost. THANK YOU for the torque specs as iPd told me there was none, (like really ?) and It took me forever to get the right feeling.
