I have a 2011 XC60 3.2l. I had a bad grinding noise on the right side of the engine. The noise went away when I put the car in drive and in reverse. I replace the torque mount which was bad and it did not solve it. Directly underneath this part is the torque strut mount. I replaced it as well and it solved the grinding sound. And last question which has nothing to do with all that; have you tested cleaning additives against carbon build up? Would you be interested to test some and give us your opinion?
