Also my favortie years. To me they were still raw good ole fashion rock and roll. That was they way I enjoyed touring, when they were still under the radar. No touch heads yet. I have nothing against the touch heads. After all they really put the boys on map for the rest of the world to come to know.

Sorry for all the coments. That said these are the shows right after Steve Parishes (not sure of spelling)wife had passed away. I give him a ton of credit for walking threw that type of pain. Many years later and I had to walk threw it myself. Same way also car accident. Terrable way to lose a loved one. God bless you Ge Ge . This brokedown took on meaning for sure.

Very nice Playin'. Pitb often didn't go "out" (into deep space) a lot in the 80s, but other tunes did. The early 80s gets a bad rap sometimes due to Jerry's health, but if people listen with their ears rather than their eyes, they'll discover a lot of great music. There were off nights,but I really enjoy listening to early 80s Dead. I hear so much 73' to 74' on Sirius that it gets to be too much. The band got better in some ways in the 80s and regained a lot of momentum.

Love the fact that jerry is rocking back and forth during samson. Thats alot of movement for him back then. These shows were alot of fun. These are the good days

don't recall which i found not in synch. check out 3-22-85 and 5-13-81, though. you have the R/L channels reversed (bob and bill should be in L ear, mick and brent in R). common. lots of dead vids on YT bkwds. used to get traded tapes that were bkwds. dead issued DP13 bkwds. DL posted the free JStraw earlier this month bkwds. (i used audacity to redo it so it's listenable w/o having to switch my speakers around.) anyway, THANKS FOR THE WORK YOU DO AND KEEP TRUCKIN'!

Is this the venue that was also known as "Brooks Hall"? I attended a couple of shows at this spot in the early 80's, can't recall the dates.

Brooks Hall was a separate "convention" Hall that resembled a parking garage. Place was used for Computer Swap Meets, corporate Christmas parties and Exotic Erotic balls

actually, check out 10-19-89....the synch is off just enough that it gives it that 70's kung fu movie feel. i mean, it is close....but not just exactly perfect.
