Now at costco this same make is $49.99 😢 says online thru costco that it rotates at 90* 😮 Hope it last a long time at $49.99. Love it so far. Thanks for the video 🎉

Yes I have this model as well. It also includes a remote control, which is great. The buttons on the fan itself are capacitive touch instead of clicky.

I got mine just the other day for 39.99 at Costco with 10$ instant discount so I paid 29.99 I love it and love the tilt and control but I'm not able to take the front off to clean the blades and that I don't like so I'm gonna return it. I have other Vornado fans that is easy to clean.

I just bought my new Vornado #279 from Costco in Salt Lake City, Utah for $40 after seeing your review and tested it out in one of my bedrooms. Everything you talked about and even the sound level was spot on! The price is great compared to other fans of similar quality.The great thing about Costco is you never have to worry about taking anything back to them. I think I will buy more Vornado Fans!

Vornado's are the best. I have a lot of them. I have the 660, 7503, 6303, and bought 3 more for friends of mine as gifts. They are WELL worth the money! I think I'm gonna pick up a couple of these. Thanks for the video.

these are the best fans you buy for the price today and i'm getting mines now the exact same one the 279 i have a fairly large room so i can use it to cool the room or use it as a intake and exhaust fan as well thanks for the video and i enjoyed it

The instructions say you can’t take it apart to clean it. That means I’m taking it back.

If you don't care about your warranty, it definitely can come apart for cleaning. I do it regularly. Let me know if I should make a video of the process.

I just took mine apart. It takes like 10 minutes and is really simple to disassemble and reassemble it.

I got mine from the Costco outlet it worked perfect at the start and then when I moved outlets it wasn't turning on with the press of the button instead it beeps when you hold the button down and doesn't stay on if you remove your finger

They have a 5 year warranty. Take it back to Costco or contact Vornado.

I'm glad you are enjoying the Vornado! I showed how it can be pointed vertically in my video. Some other models have more than 2 positions.

I was actually waiting for them to go on sale again in my area so I could buy at least 1 or 2 more. I'll have to check my Costco ASAP. The fan in the video has taken many a fall from counter height and is beat up but still working great. It runs at least 12 hours a day, and sometimes nonstop days on end. I might do a follow up video if there's enough interest in it. Thanks for the comment!

Costco has the updated version which now can tilt to vertical, has touch buttons instead of clicky, and a remote control. It was $40 or $50 I think. I may have to pick one up for review.

You would have to build a mount or shelf. It's not really designed to blow right at you though. You point it at an opposite wall, corner, or ceiling and the air flows throughout the room.

Dont buy this, its crap. Only lasted a few months compared to a cheaper fan I had before, which lasted almost 10 years.

@@1empyre1life My first one started rattling pretty badly after a month I tightened the screws on Vornado's advice and it helped a bit but i took it back to Costco and got another. That lasted for about 5-6 more months before the rattling became terrible on low and medium so it was only usable on high. Vornado customer service (as they always have done in the past) came through and replaced my 279 Costco model i bought for $30-40 with a $99 model 753 after i sent them a photo with my cord cut. Great fans and even better customer service. One of my favorite companies of all time
