Thank's very much for your tutos (even more for the videos with speach instead of written comments). I am finishing to mount my 1st Voron 2.4 350x350 and wish to install nozzle clean and I am wondering if it would not be more practical to install it in front instead of back; what could be the draw-back ? (I use the CAN bus version and sensorless homing)

Thanks Scott, now I know what I'm doing tomorrow. As always, appreciate your help on the firmware. Wishing you the best on your next build, Steve

Thanks, you too! You might want to read my latest post for a better place to put the macro. Where I show it in the slicer is fine, but there is a better place in the G32 macro on the printer. I'm going to create a supplemental video showing this, but I need to create another video first.

Another cool video Scott! Why not put the CLEAN_NOZZLE entry in the PRINT_START macro rather than the slicer?
@scottcorn Жыл бұрын
Thank you. That's a good idea. I think I will do that. Just didn't think of it for some dumb reason. lol

I think I may add it to the G32 macro. Let it home all then QGL then nozzle scrub and then the final home all.

Hello Scott. This is exactly what I have missed vor my 2.4. Great video. Question. Why don't you execute this macro inside your start code and after QGL / Bed Mesh (immediately before you print)? Best regards Martin
@scottcorn Жыл бұрын
That would be a better place for it to be. Krapstar also brought this up right before you. I think I may do a short 20.5 episode showing this. Not sure why I didn't go that way. lol

I personnally include it many times during my start print sequence, before all homing sequences and a last time just before it starts printing
@scottcorn Жыл бұрын
@@mokran937 I agree it can be done multiple times. The Internet can be a tough place though and I would get a lot comments if I slowed down the startup any more than one. lol

Hello, any plans on canbus?
@scottcorn Жыл бұрын
Probably at some point. I'm just not wanting to tear this one down for it. It's my only ABS printer. I'm building a V0.2 shortly. Just waiting on the kit to get here. It will free this one up some for things like CANBUS once it is done. I keep getting ask to build a Trident also. Maybe I can do it on that one also. (When I can afford to buy the parts Lol)
