@tmmurphy2 ай бұрын
Nitrous is cheaper but when the bottle runs dry, the fun is over. I always felt I would drive conservatively so as not to waste the NOS which defeats the purpose. On my Fox and my GTO I have always went supercharged. Turbocharged would be more dramatic, but also more expensive. I was not happy with my Fox's non-intercooled set-up since it was a warm weather car. I just upgraded to an intercooled Pro-Charger with a larger fuel pump and injectors along with other upgraded bolt-ons.. We'll see.

Yeah I ran 14.2 stock last year at fun ford exhaust/cold air intake/underdrive pullys. And I didn’t realize but I had a 7.5” rear I couldn’t take off hot cause it was a 1 wheel peeler but still got a 2.2-60’ wasn’t terrible I cchased down a 351clevland and passed right at the finish the video is on my channel. But I went and bought a 8.8 at the JY all new Bearings seeks etc. bought a new Yukon dura Trac with 31 splines and new Yukon 4.11’s and I have an old explorer intake I’m gonna throw on with the 65mm Tb. Subframes to be welded in and that’s it for now I want to get low 13’s on motor/ without touching the motor so next year I’ll see what I can do. I got full race slicks m/t also. It’s all fun for me I just want to get the tires off the ground a little a get 12.9-13.4.. I want a supercharger but they are expensive might get one one day.

While I am not a fan of the small s trim blowers. They make your car feel like a decent NA pull. You should still be seeing boost before 5 k. Something is wrong with the blower or you have a boost leak. Do you have low gears? Engine needs to be under a hard load to boost as well.

The specs are OE on the intake and the exhaust valve is 0.27" longer than OE and doesn't have the OE lock groove that sits low on the valve. Capable of running 0.600" lift, only running 0.533" with 1.5:1 rocker arms. 5600 RPM limiter. Looking at 58lb/hr injectors so I have the option to run E85 if I need to.
