I didn't know the developer was russian, if I had known that sooner I would have been more suspicious of him from the start. I really enjoy voices of the void and that might be because I started playing late 0.7, but I just enjoyed everything about it. It was until I decided to dig deeper (out of complete interest) into the rabbit hole that I found this channel from a gamejolt page and holy shit it hit me like a train. Pity pity, I knew I was not the only one who found the game was getting weirder and weirder And this really got me today after seeing that Erie easter egg and discovering that Kerfus answers your marriage proposal... it would be fine if things like that were just funny little easter eggs, but until now I have not seen significant things being added to the game What? A new base, a reformed map and some events are the only significant updates I have seen so far, and knowing that this game is free and DrNose is being paid to make the game... really makes me wonder I follow the game through Joel's streams and some playthroughs myself because I don't want any spoilers, I had the same kind of experience Joel had in his childhood, I perfectly understand his feelings with games like Signal Simulator, that game fucked me up just like it did to Joel, I share the same fears as he does, so Voices of the Void seemed to be the perfect incarnation of it all I started to feel weird about the game after Arirals were added, more specifically after I discovered they were giant catgirls, I'm not gonna lie at first they didn't seem to be a bad thing to the game, they could've had a deep lore and a very interesting role in game, but instead they have a fucking sextreehouse and they have the knowledge to use and not use preservative when fucking, sigh And I found a whole document telling unecessary details about them that would go anywhere and making me think they are, like Joel's chat says, _manipulated fetish_ Also I tried to search about other people having the same feelings like me as the game's direction really seemed odd, huh who guessed I would discover why I never saw any criticism or people finding weird the added stuff and the direction the game was taking (only some comments on Joel's streams on KZbin) DrNose is weird to not say disgusting, God, his obsession with Erie, the ariral's sextreehouse, and that used dildo thing........ all being supported by his activities behind all of these things Knowing this all is really disappointing although make things clear, Voices of the Void was game with an incredible potential, as it's still a cool game by itself, which unfortunately isn't going too far as I can see

Actually it is his fault. Because he intentionally allow minors into his server. Before Voices of the Void became a thing, his entire discord community was strictly 16+ and anyone below that age would get banned instantly. But now that VotV gotten popular he then lowered the age requirement to 13+. it does not matter if his game is "Rated M". This game has become more of a fucking funny gmod meme then a horror game, and that is clearly intentional to get a younger fanbase. It's obvious that nose is now trying to attract all kinds of attention no matter the age group just to keep his game to stay popular. He *IS* responsible for this.

Postal and GTA do have funny things but they don't allow minors into their community and actively try to keep them out. Unlike Voices of the Void. Both of these games don't have weird fanbases with a weird creator who can't stop himself from giving such gross nsfw details about his characters in a public server full of minors. For context, MrDrNose didn't actually do anything like that. There was a guy on fandom wiki of the game, making some troll changes or redacting where he shouldn't or whatever.
