This wasn't only in America either, I remember it spread to Europe too, not exactly sure of all countries affected but the nordics were involved. I remember how we doubted it had spread to our little town, so me and my friend headed over to our school at night to see if the rumours were true. They were said to gather around the high and elementary schools after 9pm. We check the high school, nothing there, but as we get to the elementary on the other hand we immediately see a clown, walking back and forth beside a fence, running his heavy axe across it. It was an unforgettable noise. I know i was recording, but i doubt i actually got good footage of it as i was shivering in my timbers. I think i'll revive my old phone for the sake of memories to see if i actually got some clowns on tape.

Once when I was still working as a clown last 2019, there was one kid party, and there were two clowns: me and my friend clown. Everything went well until we invited some kids to participate in a game, I mean why not right? There was one kid who doesn't want to go, so I came and encouraged him to go play the game. As soon as I was going near him, he was screaming "Mommy! Mommy! I don't wanna go!!" He shouted, "He's gonna kidnap me! He's gonna kidnap me!!" He repeated that several times until me and my clown friend soothed him and made funny jokes. I cant even believe that clowns that are in private parties are being affected by the terror. 😪 I decided to change jobs after that, fearing that other kids might have the same reaction. I know it might be really just their phobia or somthin but, saying "He gonna kidnap me!" Is on a different level, it aint a phobia anymore.

Ikr, I worked in both private parties and general circus and every private party I performed at there was at least one kid that was scared of me, and when I was just starting out i never knew what to do and it made me feel really bad about myself. Some kids would downright physically hurt me due to fear and l just wish they knew how much effort I put into my career and that I'm trying to make them smile. And not to mention the parents, they would get mad at me for doing my job. I quit my job after being hurt with an actual knife.

Yeah what happened with u is terrible but some kids have clown phobia,I was one of those kids.... around 8 years ago when I was still a kid......I went to a birthday party because I had to but I don't wanted cuz I always had social anxiety......For some reason I was always extremely terrified of clowns.....so much that I froze when the clown in that party approached me for a handshake.....I couldn't speak and could barely move ,I was really terrified tbh, I somehow was tryna pretend that I was fine......I would say that don't approach kids who are afraid or don't wanna participate
