Welcome to a new VoxChats interview! This time we'll be spending 15mins with Nico and Kevin from Electric Callboy. After an unexpected start (yes i put this in the bloopers) we dive into writing process/authenticity, vocal choices/training and touring endurance. This was great, and love the blooper at the end. I think part of what made this so good was it shows just how much you love the band. So often when people interview someone, it's just a job, they do a bit of homework to pretend like they know a lot, but you set down as a fan, and were asking and talking about the kinds of stuff we would be. Nothing is faked just a woman who loves the band getting the chance to ask them things she's been wanting to know for a couple years after finding their music. :)

I literally discovered these guys through reaction videos in the past 2 days and went and bought their newest album because of it! Electric Callboy have evolved massively. Over the years. 1st time I saw them was at Bochum Total - a free festival in Germany in 2013 when I was there to see Van Canto, who are also a great band. You could see that there was talent, but what they are doing now is amazing. Thanks for sharing your interview and the reactions🤘

Great interveiw. It's weird hear Partycore being used in conversation with the band. I get where there coming from not wanting to write to a genre, but Partycore is the best descrition of them in this Hyper Hyper/Tekkno era.

What a wonderful botch at the end of the video (and at the beginning of the interview). But i can relate to this situation. Head full of questions and topics you want to tackle but this consumes all the brain power until to that point you forget basic stuff. Still a great way of getting out of this sticky situation. well done!

I LOVE that song, I think it's the album's dark masterpiece. When Nico joined they did an acoustic ballad version of 'Prism', an earlier song that is very heavy and serious. There's live versions of it on KZbin that really show off Nico's voice.

Major respect but If your voice feels like calluses you need to see a doctor and get a harsh vocals singing coach before you loose your voice. Wouldnt be the first famous singer to do it. For example Corey Taylor - Slipknot
