*Oh Wow...last time I saw this VP I think it had the engine bay painted in that "Brock Blue" and you and Fred were still scraping off the insulation/sound deadener off the floor which I wouldn't have had the patience to do because in my mind it's not worth the time and weight reduction. Project cars take time, but that's half the fun and slowly making progress. The VP looks fantastic and can't wait to see it finished and you guys giving it your all around the racetrack. Awesome project guys. Love your work and videos.💯%*

Thanks mate, what started out as a father and son covid project has quickly snow balled. It's really starting to come together. Check out our latest video on diff and rear suspension. Fred.

@@ClunieGarage *Will do mate. I love seeing the progress and how the VP has already transformed so much. Love the shape of the VP. Are you guys going to put those eyebrows that go on the front guards directly above the front wheels on? VP Clubsport and VP GTS have them and they finish off the front guards nicely. I'm not sure if the VP O5 Mobil 1 Brock racecar had them or not? Either way, loving the videos and looking forward to seeing the next one. It's the "Ducks Guts"💯👍👍*

My side skirts are one piece except for the rear door piece. The kit i used also had mounting points for all the original hardware which sounds like it made the mounting process much easier.
@ClunieGarage7 ай бұрын
Interesting, our side skirts were definitely two piece and the spats were all separate. No mounting points in our bars, just some blanking reference spots in the fiberglass which we figured were the starting point to target bracket location etc.. Where did you get your kit from?
@Chimp_Assassin7 ай бұрын
@@ClunieGarage Unfortunately I can't remember where I got it from it was about 15 years ago, I think it was advertised on eBay but I picked it up somewhere north of Adelaide. Mine's a GTS/GROUP A kit. The front and rear had mounting bolts fibreglassed in and some raised areas to bolt in the original brackets from the OEM bumpers. Still had to screw on and Sikaflex the side skirts and spats.

Love the content.. been hanging out to see this come together. Tell me though.. the Hewlett Packard on the front garnish. It’s on the pi**. Tell me it’s getting redone.. Haha, sorry to be ‘that guy’.
@ClunieGarage7 ай бұрын
No problems, we know it's on crooked. It is getting redone when the car gets the full livery done.

The Koya KF124 in white look very like the original wheels compared to the Walkies. Shame about the price. 😢
@ClunieGarage7 ай бұрын
We looked at the Koyas KF124 given our other Koya purchases. We also looked at Momo heritage wheels. We think the walkinshaw replicas are the closest whilst striking balance of looks vs cost.
