Budget rear shocks for that thing, Progressive 412’s if she is going to be riding it. Get rid of the air shocks lose some weight with those gone!

You’re only ruining it if you’re building it like other people want you to build it. Get er done your way. I work at a dealership in the service department and see plenty of bikes I don’t care for, I don’t judge because those aren’t my bikes. I love to see how excited people are about what they’ve done to their bikes regardless of how I see it. I’m sure people don’t like my bikes. You’re doing great.

Coming along good. Loving that turn signal eliminator. I need to upgrade to led turns yet and solder in load equalizers. My '92 isnt plug & play with anything 😂 With the lowering brackets, good to be temporary. But keep an eye on the swingarm where the axle blots go. Theyre really well known to break there due to those brackets. The farther lowered the more stress put on it.

I got rid of the dog bone and rear turn signals. I got the same turn signal Eliminator. I went with the low profile tail lights and filler lights and saddlebag lights as turn and brake lights. The Road Queen is looking sexy. I'm only 5"5 and I went with the Legend lowering fork suspension and rear twelve inch shocks. It got me touching the ground on my 2013 Ultra Classic.

Looking good . New lights are a cleaner look ,but the factory lights might have been more visible, its all about being seen. I have Goldwings and just added led street glow & ring of fire to light me up and be sure I'm seen. Your stable looks show winning and looks like your having fun. I lowered my wife's first bike, a 2013 Sportster. It took a little but her back lights went out and we didn't realize the tire was rubbing on the wire going to the lights. FYI.

Get some dirty air shocks for her. I Got the basic set up for my 09 Electra glide love it. You really don’t need the tank it takes about 10 seconds to lift.

BIG MISTAKE !!!!!!! I just REMOVED the exact same lowering blocks from my 03 Road King Because the blocks cause the shocks to stick out because of the thickness of the blocks it caused the shocks to rub holes in both of my saddlebags and tore the rubber boots on both air shocks. The ride was HORRIBLE, restricted the shock travel so much it always felt like it was bottoming out! AND I immediately got a rear wheel wobble around 45 mph. Plus now it ( steering )seems to fight me in the curves ! Do yourself a big favor and put it back to stock, the Harley engineers know what they’re doing. Ride safe 😎

You’re not wrong. I rode my 1995 Road King for over 20 years lowered an inch, both front and back. Two weeks ago I brought it back up to stock height with Race Tech internals in the forks and a pair of their shocks in the rear. Incredible how much better the bike handles and rides. Sure, they look good lowered but they ride like a brick and you’ll grind the side stand at the slightest left turn angle.

The Road King in the video is at least a 2002 which has the updated swing arm. The older version from 1994 through 2001 is the one that will possibly crack with a lowering bracket on it.
