What an adoption of the famous abhang on to Carnatic rendition. Salutations to the vocalist Vid Shobhna ji. A daring attempt successful in evoking Bhakti Ras. I have heard the legendary Pt Ajit Kadakade ji of this abhang in Hindusthani also which is height of ecstacy. My salutations to both singers. Thanks for sharing.

यह एक मराठी अभंग है जो संत भानुदास ने रचा है - वृंदावनी वेणु कवणाचा माये वाजे । वेणुनादे गोवर्धनु गाजे ॥ १ ॥ The flute ( वेणु ) makes sound ( actually it is being played by Shri Krishna ) in the Vrndavan ( वृंदावन ) , the venu is like a poem पुच्छ पसरूनी मयूर विराजे । माझा पाहता भासती यादवराजे ॥ २ ॥ This sound of वेणु ( वेणुनादे ) fills the whole Govardhan mountain. The peacock is dancing by spreading its tail , and it seems to me as Yaadav Raje ( श्रीकृष्ण यादवों में भी राजा थे इसलिए यहां यादवराजे शब्द इस्तेमाल हुआ है ) is looking at me तृणचारा चरू विसरली । गाई व्याघ्र एके ठायी झाली । पक्षीकुळे निवांत राहिली । वैरभाव समुळ विसरली ॥ ३ ॥ At that moment , the cows forgot to graze , the cows and tiger came together , birds are relaxed , the feeling of enmity is completely vanished . यमुना जळ स्थिर स्थिर वाहे । रवि मंडळ चालता स्तब्ध होय । शेष कूर्म वराह चकित राहे । बाळा स्तन देऊ विसरली माय ॥ ४ ॥ The water of Yamuna is flowing slowly ( almost stopped ) , the रविमंडल ( the planets , the sun and other stars ) have stopped too . Shesh , Kurm , Varah are mesmerized by the melody of flute played by Shri Krishna in Vrndavan and mothers forgot to feed their child. ध्वनि मंजुळ मंजुळ उमडती । वाकी रुणझुण रुणझुण वाजती । देव विमानी बैसोनी स्तुति गाती । भानुदास पावली प्रेम-भक्ति ॥ ४ ॥ The sound produced is very sweet , the anklets make sound रुणझुण , the gods sitting in Vimaan are singing praise and Saint Bhanudas is blessed with love and devotion ( प्रेमभक्ति )
