HOLY COW, 11'20" minute miles!? You are killing it girl! So fast. I love Restaurant week in KC too! You're so close to goal it's kind of surreal isn't it? Proud of ya!

Haha, well so far I can only actually maintain that pace for 1 mile, LOL! But I'm working on it! :D

@@GraceGetsGastric That's still awesome! You'll definitely meet your time goal. I'm waaaaaay slower! :) I average in the 12's comfortably now (started around the 15's) and my friends run in the 9's and 10's so my weekly Thursday morning runs will push me which is a good thing. You can always get that push on the treadmill. It's harder to push yourself when you run alone.

Holy toledo! You are running at a great speed! Way to go! I am slowly increasing my speed, but I am still around 14 minutes per mile. So many thoughts around what the heck is life going to look like at a relatively normal size/weight? It is unknown and exciting and kinda scary too. I never realized how much of my identity is wrapped up in my weight and associated social standing ad an obese person until I started moving out of that time. I am still obese, hut I am getting closer to not being classified that way and that is awesome, but feels weird too. Awesome loss again this week! Love seeing your face and hearing your thoughts, luv ❤

Thanks so much, hon! I think part of my struggles with running have been trying to push myself to run too fast, too soon. And yes, so feel you on my identity being more wrapped up in being an obese person in the world, and it's a whole new world out here without that weight. I'm also getting close to just being 'overweight' and while I definitely want it, I also feel a bit wibbly about it at the same time. EMOTIONS ARE WEIRD!

I understand what you mean about whether you need to keep losing or not. Essentially I’ve been in that stage for the last year, playing with the same 7 or so lbs. My body doesn’t want to budge without putting in a lot more effort exercise wise and/ or restricting a lot more, because in all honesty I’m not really restricting all that much, or exercising much. But, even when was I doing more of that, I didn’t get down further than 153lbs. So, for me, being able to eat more/ eat more of what I want and not exercise much more than I am, I had to be okay with where I’m at weight wise. And, I still wear the same clothes, still am much healthier than I was, still am pretty “small” so I can’t really complain. I think your body and your mind will converge and find a stopping point when they’re ready/ you’re ready and to probably not worry too much about it 😊 I think ultimately it will come down to when you’re living your life the way you want to and feel good about and in a manner that you can maintain, you’ll decide you’re “good” (and you can always change your mind!) you’re doing great! ♥️

Thank you, lovely! And I definitely think you're right about knowing my stopping point when it's time. :D

Happy Halloween, Little Miss RUNNER! You are inspiring me to run past week 4 which I haven’t pushed through in a long time. P.S. I wish I was watching Hocus Pocus with you tonight instead of trick or treating in the rain! I actually ordered that movie Sept 1 and it still hasn’t arrived!

SEE!!! I am glad I am not the only one who keeps saying my weight in the 300s even though I'm not anymore haha. I literally do that ALL the time!!! Cause it's all I've ever known lol. You're doing fantastic girl! Hope dinner was fantastic ^.^ I feel exactly what you're talking about... I can't even think about what I am going to look like in the future. I still want to lose weight too, but I am a billion times happier where I am right now and would be completely content if I never lost another pound. My ultimate goal is to be 199...but I think I might make it to 180 and will probably stop right there. I never realised I could ever feel this good, even at the size I am still!!!. People don't STARE at me anymore like I am not normal. Anyways, you look absolutely beautiful :) I love your make-up and that lipstick colour on you!! So pretty ^.^ (I'm a rambler too, lol you're definitely not alone there! haha)

I've probably asked this before but I can't remember. What video editor do you use? Mine is so basic, I would like to do more. Really great loss for the month. I hope you have a great time at your restaurant week dinner. I love restaurant week and I take pleasure in looking at all the menus and finding the one that suits me the best. My friends and family trust my judgement and so I always pick where we go out to eat. The last one I went to offered an alcoholic coffee as one of the dessert choices and it was perfect for me. I was able to slowly sip that as everyone else ate dessert. I worked well for me. As I approached onederland I had similar feelings to yours. I'll have to look back and find the video and send you a link just in case you are interested in watching it.
@GraceGetsGastric6 жыл бұрын
I use Wondershare Filmora to edit. I paid for it, but I thought of it as an investment in my weight loss, as making these videos has really helped keep me accountable. And yes! I went through the menus and picked one that had good protein/relatively low carb options for me and it was DELICIOUS! :D And I'd love to watch that video if you find the link!

@@GraceGetsGastric That might really help. Maybe a good mental exercise to try. I don't know if you have read or listened to the Secret, that may be a place to start or something like that. When the negative starts coming in, try pushing it away with positive thoughts. Sometimes you have to actively force the negative thoughts away.
