Norwegian and Siberian cats are as friendly as puppies. They follow you wherever you go and like to smell what you're doing. They are well-behaved and don't make mischief in the house. Enjoy having him :) I admire your drawings.

Aww, Hamish is such a good helper! Maybe he'd like to watch you unload the kiln. perhaps a step stool next to the kiln would prevent him from using you as a scratching post

Hi Susan, I will keep him if it falls through but I know she will love him. One of our neighbours is looking for their two cats who disappeared yesterday, so cold at night now and we have predators all around. I keep my five cats indoors.

Omg, funny how you were talking about your older work being out there. The day after we saw this video, we were in a consignment shop in HydePark, NY, when we came across one of your bowls from 1997. Of course we purchased it, and it’s now hanging on the wall of our craft studio. And Hamish is a keeper! Nothing is better than an animal who has chosen you, rather than vice versa. Make him an indoor cat so he doesn’t get close to the road!

I wish but the customers leave the door open in the summer, even in the winter I have to go over and shut the door after some of them. He is getting a terrific home, he will be the second cat I have given to her. She is a work at home photographer and used to be a veterinary assistant. Hamish will be sleeping on her bed at night instead of in a dusty studio. I may take in another cat later this year, there is a stray we cannot get close to yet. Thanks.

Hi Mel, I thought of that but I only go in there in the evenings. The new home is terrific and the lady is very nice, we have known her for 10 years, her cat died after she spent a lot of money on him including surgeries. I will miss him a lot but I have 5 cats at the house.
