What I want in a Spyro 4 is to be able to JUMP, Glide, breathe fire, and charge in a 3D environment and be able to collect stuff. Hence it being a 3D platformer. That’s what makes it a Spyro Game. The NPC’s, the mini games, level variety, and a fun story are also important.

Here's some additional info to calm your worries: Toys for Bob is still standing, they're just going remote(Which makes sense since they're a small team and the former office was way to huge to be sustainable); The layoffs were already planned by Activision before the Microsoft acquisition, it's not a consequence of the recent buyout; There have been listings about Beenox working on a new project, and they've directly collaborated with Activision on the newer Crash games. If you want more additional context, watch Canadian Eh Guy. He's been on top on anything Crash/Spiro related.

After today's announcement of Toys For Bob going indie, but still seemingly working with Activision/Microsoft via a partnership. While also teasing their next project. I think there's still some hope for Spyro yet! Least they'll have a LOT more freedom to do what they want! Basically Insomniac with Ratchet before being acquired by Sony. Could you imagine if they approach Sony with a Sly Cooper pitch & Sony approves it? That would be SO awesome!

The answer is simple keep the current formula that works make it larger and create new breaths that can interact with each other like let Spyro beat gnasty gnorc and he consumes his mace that has a crystal in it that gives him jade breath and let it interact with his electric breath to make the breath have a further sporadic reach by reflecting it, or flame breath with jade where it superheats the crystal and causes it to explode sending jade shrapnel ahead of you, or jade and ice breath which cause Spyro to have armour that hurts enemies when attacked all this would be a good idea and you could base his breath off the gems you collect giving real reason to collect the gems to get this awesome breath along with its implications .

I never want to hear anyone complain about how bad Crash's 25th was ever again. At least they had a game to look forward to, Spyro fans meanwhile get nothing but false hope only to get kicked in the balls. IMO, Crash Team Rumble should have been shelved in favor of Spyro 4, and I will die on that hill.

You know what? Spyro 4 "new dragon villain" possibility just made me think about how it could be Seath - The Scaleless. The juxtaposition between the colorful world of Spyro being the Dark Souls' Dragon era just makes it so strange but at the same time, a way to show the growth of the player base. Of course, this crosses the fanfict line, but the idea entertains me.

I think IP owners might still want to "hoard" inactive IP for many reasons, such as preventing others from profiting from or exploiting these IPs, if they have a change of heart in the future, or even to come up with alternative monetization strategies to releasing new games, such as: 1. Rereleasing older games and ports and remasters 2. TV, film, or book adaptions 3. Mobile games 4. themes, avatars, and merchandise

A new Spyro villain? Was first thinking some version of Malefor or Dark/Corrupt Cynder, but then thought of something else; Some kind of "dragonic-hydra" with three heads, with own personalities, like "The Brains/Leader/Planner", "Warrior/Fighter" and "Crazy-one" for example. Could create some comedic moments too.

I'll be honest. It's UNFAIR how Spyro was treated so far. And sorry but I just can't help but compare his situation with Crash even if I don't want to. Crash got his remaster, and from there he got another remake, a new game, a mobile game, and another new game. Spyro got his remaster, and form there he... became a guest. Hey I love seeing him as a guest, but for 5 years?! I really hoped that we got Spyro 4 by this point, I mean, that's a long waiting just for a new game compared to Crash. The fact that nothing was confirmed yet is painful, despiste the official accounts making posts about him or the latest information about his IP's moves, that just doesn't hold up as a signal. The Activision adquisition by Xbox was like a shining hope, but that just almost backfired horribly. Now there's a whole reorganization happening and who knows how that's gonna affect Spyro 4, that if Even that was planned? It's just so frustrating, so sad, so... unfair. About my vision of Spyro 4, that changed a lot of times by now that I don't have a main one, but many. Although most of them are about him traveling to a whole new land where he has a certain connection with that land, where the villains are the past ones but under a new and more powerful foe, and he has to save this land. Overall, great video. It was time to see the truth happening right now. I don't want to lose hope, and I won't, but how long the wait must be?

Aye, Spyro has a lot going against him. But then again, he also has a lot going for him. I can't say we'll never get a Spyro 4, especially with how well Reignited sold, but it's just a lot more complicated. Such is the curse with videogame development.

Well, in Spyro: Shadow Legacy, there is a purple dragon called "The Sorcerer". Who's basically the "Classic" version of Malefor. Heck, I believe it was the same story team that was working on The Legend of Spyro Trilogy, if I'm not mistaken. So they might be able to bring this particular character back in a hypothetical Spyro 4.

I know i'm in the minority but i would love to see a Reignited 2 with Enter the Dragonfly, Hero's Tail & Shadow Legacy. They could fix all the mistakes of the games and turn SL from 2d to 3d and instead leaving the OG series on a cliffhanger they wrap it up nicely. Then after that maybe a Reignited 3 with the Legend Saga

I'm a simple sort; I'm more annoyed that Activision didn't create an easter egg in reignited's Spyro 3 that only shows up on the chinese year of the dragon. If it doesn't crop up this year we'll have to wait until 2036 before it can show up again. As for Spyro 4, I can personally live without it but at the same time it _would_ be nice to see.

I feel this video didn’t age well. And it’s only been a week. There didn’t need to be a nearly 11 minute video to say “we have no official news”. They been dropping hints left and right. The fact you don’t see them as such is just beyond me. They dropped even more when letting us know they’ve gone independent. They are also still working with Microsoft and Activision. Just as long as crash and Spyro get new direct sequels then I’m fine. But 1 thing toys for bob should have learned with how rumble went down, is platforming games like crash and Spyro do NOT belong in a live service multiplayer game. Co op is as far as I go. I’m pretty sure toys for bob didn’t even want to make crash team rumble but were pressured to by activision.

Have you ever thought about how dangerous could a fairy be if one of them decided to turn against the dragons instead of helping them like fairies used to do in previous Spyro games? There was one game where the main objective was rescueing fairies, I think this idea could be done again and better

I truly love the Spyro series, however, I do not have any confidence in Microsoft as a video game publisher. Let’s be honest here, Microsoft can’t even sell their own games without PlayStation’s help the days anyway. So… unfortunately, I’m afraid that it doesn’t look good for my favorite dragon. While it is always good to remain optimistic, we should consider *Microsuck’s* track record when handling big video game franchises. Sadly, the really is such that the Spyro series may be reduced to nothing more than Games Pass trash with Phil Spencer and his buffoon crew in charge.

I wouldn't mind if at some point Crash and Spyro just get fully merged into a singular series. I'd love to see at least one more exclusive Spyro game, but after that I feel like the best thing that could happen is Crash and Spyro co-existing as friends that occasionally help each other throughout their adventures. There's a lot of room for innovation, and one thing in particular the fanbase really wants out of Crash is more 3D level design with full camera rotation. This is a perfect opportunity to have levels designed for both Crash and Spyro to navigate through. Crash in search of Crystals or a similar maguffin along a more linear path Twinsanity style, and Spyro in search of Treasure and to help those around the area who are in need with more freedom to explore.

In shortly, I think the new Spyro game should be a sequel for both Original (Reignited) and The Legend trilogies. The game starts at the end of third Legend game, where at results of *spoilers*, Spyro and Cinder end up being separated upon entering in the Reignited Dragon Realms. Legend Spyro got fully corrupted by the... whatever was that dark magic in the Legend trilogy, idr. And so, Cinder and Reignited Spyro team up to stop and save corrupted Spyro.

It's the Year of the Dragon so Spyro needs to return but i'm glad I have Spyro Reignited Trilogy on pc what I bought just in the New Year eve because the Dragon. Spyro 4 should come in the Year of the Dragon 2024 and my childhood's favourite just same age as me 21 years old game serie Sly Cooper deserves Sly 5 just because it ended to a cliffhanger. We really need Spyro and Sly back, Jak and Daxter too of corse. 🦝🐉😢💔
