Im always kind of glad we didnt get realism Jak. He looks bad. All i want really is a slightly higher polygon count with up to date hair physics perhaps with a larger more textured world to play in. Story wise Mar would be a great twist bad guy to still be alive and use the precursors to steal jaks light powers. Honestly Light Jak looked cool but was kind of broken, id rather upgrade dark jak giving more combat options over insta heals and stopping time.

My personal theory is Ashlin knows the young boy (Jak) is Marr the successor to Damos. She's way older than him and was around when the coup took place by her father. So when she says "Wait... he's Mar?" She means "Holy shit wait THATS the heir? He was knee high when I last saw him"

Disclaimer:I skipped Sly 3 and played thieves in time after Sly 2. I didnt know who this Penelope lady was but i knew the situation was sus. After Neelas betrayal in Sly 2 i immediately guessed she was double crossing the boys and kinda sheepishly hoped i was wrong for Bentley's sake.

I feel like they’re doing this to get ready for sly Cooper 5C they kind of did mess up a ton of stuff but in your last like Cooper video which was a year ago about how Penelope betrayed I had commented a ton, but one of those comments was explaining how they could implement the story so warp around Penelope’s for trade and she could have a redemption arc like halfway throughout the game and they can incorporate clockwork and be able to maybe have a sly Cooper six and if y’all say you’re keeping this franchise alive, too much, think about ratchet and clank

Everybody knows about Penelope’s hatred for sly because she feels like he took away Bentleys potential so we all know how Penelope broke out of jail at the end of thieves in time, and she’s been sending postcards to Bentley. Maybe somehow Penelope would learn about sly being stuck in Egypt and to finally get rid of him, she would go back in time to Egypt, but she would mess up because the gang would find her while she’s time traveling and they would figure out she’s going to Egypt and they would follow her to try to get her back in jail but then figure out they found sly and then the rest of the game would be going through all the different ancestors until halfway through the story, you see a cut scene of Penelope, working on clockwork, and then clockwork betrays her you’ll help fight clockwork for that brief second, but then clockwork steals Penelope’s time machine, and so, after helping Penelope, and realizing sly, isn’t that bad, and she was blinded by jealousy of like their friendship, or something she would go through another time. And they would go back to the mid evil maybe just maybe not completely sure and then blah blah blah and then the last mission would be going before the night that flag Cooper’s dad died and you defeat all of the devious five or whatever their name is I don’t know how I forgot and then. Right before you defeat clockwork, he breaks the time machine and it does a huge explosion, causing a set up for another game and clockwork disappears setting up for sly Cooper six

I feel like Penelope is the reason why clockwork became who he was clockwork has always hated the Coopers, but he knew he would die and won’t be able to survive throughout all of the Cooper bloodline until Penelope came around and she gave him his armor after learning clockworks purpose, because Penelope was introduced in the third game. This is a key detail if she was introduced in the first one or the second one, she would know about clockwork and his abilities and all of that, but since she was introduced in the third game, she would only have heard about clockwork, and never gone on a quest. That is related so since she went back in time to give her some armor, she didn’t know the best way, or the way to make sure so I couldn’t defeat him, for she didn’t know what was the flaw that sly was able to use to defeat him, and I feel like she would make a very good villain, and also will give clockwork a little more to his backstory, for we don’t know what’s in the thevesis racoonis but I’m hoping one day they will come out with a real life version of the book and also maybe the pages will have a certain tear mark like when it was Tucan it will have a certain tear mark on it, and they will all be different based on the animal paws, telling which pages those characters took, I think Penelope is the reason why clockwork has his armor for Clockwork wouldn’t be that smart to create that Omer, even in that prehistoric era

I really wish sly Cooper Maybe on AA anniversary they could give us a full version of the Thevis raccoons I know I miss spelled that and it will have all the ancestors and maybe some new ancestors we never learned about. Maybe these new ancestors would be the ancestors you would see in a new game and clockwork would be the last villain in that game. That would be cool.

OK based on the information I got from the fourth game I think he took. I forgot his name I was like Gustine or something but it was the mid evil version of sly. I think he took that page because I think Penelope is the reason why clockwork has his armor and Penelope told him whenever you get the TV is raccoons in the future do something blah blah blah and hasta do something with that I don’t know, but also when you look around that map when you’re in that era There are owls, flying everywhere, and if you look at the clock tower, you could see a giant owl on it kinda looking like clockwork, but not completely

Figured I'd give my thoughts about dark eco on this old video, lol, dark eco feels like it's more so energy identical to blue eco but in more destructive ways, if you notice light eco takes more of a form or is more at peace with itself while dark eco is electrical and more wild, Jak even became more violent after getting dark eco but once he also gained light eco again he became calmer, more able to let people get close, I think dark AND light eco were made at the same time, and sense the other eco can make light eco it's possible that ALL known eco is just from the making of light eco and dark eco is the unwanted byproduct of the process, more than likely some research was conducted to see if it can be used positively but as with Jak it does "help" at a cost of one's morale alignment, the physical body doesn't seem to be compatible with the eco so HEAVY modifications to the person needed to be made, we know that much from everyone else who dealt with the eco in the games, sense Jak has a gift for eco itself he doesn't need the mods but he can't be left with only dark eco he'll still die or transform into something else, the ones researching it probably tested it and made countless objects able to use the surplus of this unique dark eco, we see some of these mostly in Jak 3 but it's somewhat through out the series, from the cyloes to the eco walls in Jak 2 (if my memory is right) some of them seem to act like containers to keep the volatile substance from infecting other beings (Jak 1 is a good example) while others seem to essentially harness the power for more destructive things (dark eco bombs in Jak 1 would be one way to see this, but I think the mechs also operate with dark eco if one is able to do so) the major points of them harnessing the dark eco's power is obviously in Jak 3 from the giant four legged mech to the drone Jak was able to connect to, but what's really interesting is how dark eco likes to infect other beings, we see it in Jak 3 that it infects things with high concentrations of eco and instead of it dying it gets converted to the side of dark eco, it's possible that after some time a being was made by accident but it's only able to interact with whatever is able to last with the dark eco and survive after a long process, we see this with Jak 1 and 3's villens but we don't ever think about what they researched to get to that point or what made it possible for the dark precursors to take notice of them, but that's my thoughts about this. Sorry for the long message but I figured I'd go ahead and give my full opinion on it, lol. 😂

Interestingly enough, in spite of N. Brio assuming the role of an antagonist in Crash 4, what with him working with Cortex to perfect his potions and playing the role as the 2nd boss character in the game with plans of testing his potions on the bandicoots, he says that he considers Crash and Coco his only real friends, which ties into his alliance he had made with them in Crash 2. Kinda makes you feel even more sorry for the guy.

I know this video is nine years old but at this point, let’s just hope we get another Sly Cooper game at all before we think about the possibility of a character returning. Furthermore, if we do get another installment, let’s hope it can right the wrong that Sly 4 did to the franchise.

Dark Eco is the byproduct of creating eco. Basically, it is like separating the acid and base of a neutral substance. You can combine them back to neutralize them. But that prevents you from using their parts for other things. A very loose comparison divorced from reality, but I think I made my case.

I always thought they decided to make them ottsel beacause of crash bandicoot serie, like it was precursor to Jak and Daxter

An animated film or series would be suitable, I can imagine an "Arcane" style of animation. Personally I don´t want an adaption at all, I can´t see the first game being very interesting as a film adaption so I´d like to see something post Jak X/The Lost Frontier happening in Haven City. I have my doubts about it happening though.

In the clockwork Bossfight, he said he’s has been fueled on hatred and jealousy over the years and that has been giving him the power to stay alive. That has been his breakfast or something. I forgot the lines, but he said that I remember it always creeped me out then when I played the fourth game, I saw him looking over in the distance watching you he was in feudal Japan. He was in the wild West. I didn’t see him in the Ice Age. I was looking for him, but he probably was there. I saw him in the mid evil times and yeah he was always watching his fueled by hatred and jealousy keeping him alive.

See in every single mission of sly Cooper I have found clockwork except in the Ice Age. Is he in that one because you could see him on the dragon statue on the hills and all of that watching over you but the thing is, I never got to finish the game because literally my PS3 broke so I never got past the ice age. I never got to go to the medieval time or whatever the last one was, but then I was looking at videos and I saw as a treasure you could have clockworks eye It was like the last remaining of clockwork in the description would tell you where clue bottles and safes are so was that insulae three or was that in the fourth one I don’t know, but he will always be a enemy that hunt you down. It’s funny how he’s technically linked to every single game in the least related is the third one because the first one you fought him The second one you retrieve the broken parts of him so he doesn’t get put back together the third one that one has nothing to do with him and the fourth one you’re going back in time before you ended clockwork and it said that he’s been hunting down the Coopers for years so you can see him lurking watching you in the background. He should’ve had like his own cut scene where he appears on a roof And you talk to him for a second until like it could be like in the medieval time until Bentley comes. I don’t know armory and clockwork flies away.

I truly believe they wasted a good character for no good reason

Deleting the last idea in place of a better one. Going on the "Clockwerk is Dark Sly" theory, what if Clockwerk accomplished this by a contingency plan he secretly formed after the events of the first Sly game but before Sly 2. In lieu of the game's lore, the Klaww Gang could have backed up Clockwerk's consciousness into a Nano Chip nobody knows about in case his Hate Chip was destroyed. This Nano Chip eventually gets implanted in Sly via a Mook shooting him with a dart gun. At first, nothing happens but then the nanobot starts acting like a virus and it makes Sly sick. He gets better, but then a series of other unfortunate symptoms start happening to him as Clockwerk slowly takes over Sly's body (mood swings, heightened aggression, etc.) During these events Sly first becomes aware something is wrong in the first stage and tries to warn his friends but they don't believe him. It's not until he attacks one of them they believe it and Bentley decides to take a blood sample from Sly after seeing the virus like symptoms for himself. Bentley sees the nanobot (which is multiplying by this point) one thing leads to another, they soon figure out the nanobot is Clockwerk, leading to Bentley trying to create a vaccine to destroy him out of Sly's brain. Unfortunately he'll be too late as Clockwerk will soon take over Sly completely, making his body his own, thus turning him into Dark Sly.
