If you notice the players that was in the mv it was actually insane that deft have to defeat all of his former teammates i.e meiko (thresh, renata) doran (jax,renekton) and keria (braum,karma) And what truly got me was that keria standing against deft in the finals when he was the one that say when they were playing in the same team that "he would help deft get his worlds trophy" but in that face to face it was like "i'm sorry that it had to be this way, but I'm gonna stop you from claiming the trophy" the script for 2022 worlds was just insane considering that DRX was the last seed of lck that have no hope in winning the tournament.

2022 Worlds literally was a 10 year storyline that couldn't be matched. Truly one of the best Worlds we had ever had because of how impactful every single fight was, every moment leading up to Deft's storyline finally being reached- even if it was not with his former teammates. It truly made me cry to see him versus Keria all over again. I think my personal favorite had to have been the fact that even within this music video, it shows that it's not just Deft's storyline being achieved. It's the fact that Deft had the strength and support of his team to face off against his biggest rivals yet and that, as a team, they were able to reach the level of gods to win against the powerhouse T1. A year to be memorialized truly.

Third chorus does have a drop, backup vocalist is going wild. It's overmanafactured in that sense, they keep it almost artificial rather than let her be heard more for some reason. She is screaming power chords and they drop her into the same background as the melody, over having her rise above it and actually be in the same layer as the main vocals.

To be honest, I took me a few listens to even hear her in the backdrop when the song had came out. With that in mind, it still is hard for me to qualify as a drop that is known in World Anthem songs. It feels too minimal in comparison to other former songs and I hope that she'll be able to bring out her vocals when they sing it live at Worlds.

I can see that. Personally want a mix where that background vocalist gets into the main layer and has the same vocal effect as Rise or Take Over rather than a techno voice effect to keep it a melody. @@ladyoka

I honestly Kinda like the new Worlds trophy, It's designed so that they can add more layer to the bottom so that we can add more names to the world champions list. Similar to the Stanley Cup for the NHL

That's absolutely fair! I know the logistical reasons why they need to change the trophy for the names to be properly displayed. It still doesn't mean I don't find it lacking a lot of personality and charm that it once had with the summoners on the side of the cup.

i like the song too but yea top 3 for me are 1 rise 2 burn it down and 3 phoenix. so nothing against the song but those 3 are hard to beat.

Completely agree! This song is hard to call an anthem song in comparison to Rise and Burn It Down (my numbers 1 and 2 respectively) but it’s still a good song regardless!

loved the video but the song just left no impact and just felt like it was on repeat the whole time. I instantly forgot about it right after hearing it

I completely agree honestly! I feel like the song hurts itself so much by not having such a big impact in it's final chorus. :/

Same reason people have friends online when they can go outside and befriend someone in front of them, because at the end of the day there’s still a person behind the screen. :) You can always support someone without seeing who they are.
