now that u mention it, it does make a lot of sense... (0:42) superbia/pride (0:59) invidia/envy (1:24) gula/gluttony (this one's the hardest to notice at first glance) (1:50) ira/wrath [ps: timestamps were taken from the official video]

Jade is the personification of temptation… clear with the snake in the garden of Eden along with the eight deadly thoughts of Evagrius or the seven deadly sins which appeared in Latin throughout the trailer… the biblical references are apparent which is most likely why they paired her with Sunday, we even saw a dude getting crucified within this trailer who had thorns around his body while Sunday has a crown of thorns as seen by thorns covering his halo Jade’s clearly based off the whole “deal with the devil” thing, which is seen throughout… she acts on other people’s desperation and draws them into making a deal. If Sunday was the character that recognised the inherent weakness in humanity of the physical that caused spiritual suffering then Jade is the strong who exploits it for her own pleasure. That’s why I think she may be close the Ouroboros the Aeon of Voracity… “The drinker of worlds, the unsatisfied devourer, the black hole with thought. THEY are an Aeon and a Leviathan at the same time. In the eyes of Oroboros, life is a flickering fragment floating in the sea of void, destined to return to the darkness along with the stars which birthed THEM - This darkness is within the depths of THEIR mouths.”… an Aeon that’s desires can never be satisfied. Throughout the trailer we can see Ouroboros symbols with the snakes making an infinity symbol but it also explains her serpent motif, Ouroboros is a leviathan which is a creature originating from the bible which is a sea serpent that was killed by God… but the design of Ouroboros is also interesting, it is designed as an attractive woman which hides the leviathan creature like that of an angler fish so it can draw people in which mimics the dangerous woman described in Proverbs that uses temptation to draw people into sin. It’s interesting how Ena and Ouroboros are described as “ancient Aeons” being some of the oldest with Ena having the angelic character in Sunday along with very clearly taking inspiration from God, while Ouroboros has the character closer to the devil

this is an AMAZING comment. thank you so much for sharing!! i do agree that putting her against sunday (who is basically a fallen angel) is reminiscent of what happened with eve in the garden of eden. i can also see why she'd be close to the aeon of voracity, because she does end up "devouring" those she entices into doing deals with her via bonafide exchange. her lore is super cool. 😭
