Absolutely disturbing and terrifying, imagine having to be this much of a stalker along by having a sledgehammer, not only that, moving from their dream home, and her not having any more meetups, wise choice but a sad acception, safety goes first.

This is why I don’t have Siri on at all. That’s so scary. My fans want me to open a P.O. Box so they can send gifts and letters but after this I really don’t want to.
@Hero_of_Comedy25 күн бұрын
Yeah, you'd think that would be a good way to collect gifts secretly, but people could just spy on your PO box to see who collects from it.

14:14 Another helpful tip if you know you're being stalked or afraid of that happen: adopt a big dog that could act as a guard as well. There was a Reddit story where OP got a guard dog that protected her from a stalker (and he finally got caught). Cameras and sensors can only do so much
@ChaoticNalilitoMC2 ай бұрын
Glad you made the point @1:45. Once i heard about this, my mind instantly went to the infamous Reddit/news story from 10 years ago of the woman who HAD TO SHOOT HER STALKER TWICE IN THE CHEST AFTER HE BROKE IN for something to finally be done about him. After everything that poor woman had to do. Shit is INSANE

This is why I have dogs. Specifically one that's gonna be 80+lbs when he grows up. Also things that go bang. I'm not likely to be stalked, but you don't need to have a stalker to have a crazy person try to invade your home.
@Kyosumari2 ай бұрын
Unless you train that dog to actually be a guard dog, most dogs aren't going to be aggressive to strangers that break in when they've been raised to be "good dogs" and socialized to strangers their whole life, conditioned to trust people. A dog alone means nothing unless you actually train them to protect you, otherwise you're leaving it up to chance entirely. Without training, he may, or may not, be able to protect you when under threat.

Great Pyrenees They're giant guard dogs and very loveable and friendly, untill they have to do their job, then they become an unholly nightmare from hell. One such dog with an expectant mate who guarded some livestock (sheep or goats or something coyotes like to hunt) confronted and destroyed a coyete that came over a fence, then jumped the fence without waiting for backup and took out 7 more. He spent a fair bit of time in the vets and convelessing from his wounds, but he made a full recovery. They badly outnumbered him, a coyotes strong suit, and he took them OUT. Give em love and a great pyrenees will return it, give them grief and they'll make your will hightly relevant and closed casket a reality.

This is so scary I got stalked and the guy found where I lived and came to my house it was super scary. But yeah even though he came to my house which threatened my safety he got off with a slap on the wrist pretty much. Japan has a big stalking problem too because of this no legal repercussions or punishment is given to these people. I guess you could file for emotional damages but that’s too much work and barely ever pans out for the victims. I hope someday they will put laws in place for this but idk I can’t even see that happening in my lifetime for some reason. I hope her and her family are ok this situation is super scary. I can’t believe someone pinned a tracker in gifts but also it happens to idols all the time so I do this is the first time hearing about a fan gift tracker in the US though I am sure it’s not the first time. Be safe everyone.

there needs to be a scanner or something looking for cameras or things like airtags or trackers. to let people know about nefarious stuff like this this could be so useful from some scary stories i have heard from airbnb, weird scenarios like this, or this gift scenario would give a lot of people more peace of mind.

Bruh, that's fucking terrifying...I hope she's doing well after that... just the very idea that someone knows your streaming and choose to come to your house with a sledgehammer and tries to get in with it....that's legit something out of a scary story... I get the point of your example with the flat piece of paper in an envelope, it would be obvious if someone tried to hide something like a tracking device in that. I'd say be careful about envelopes in particular too though. Anthrax envelopes are a thing unfortunately.

I used something like Airtags to track my bike when it was stolen. over, and over, and over again. Dropped the tracker down the seat into the frame. I figured the universe didn't want me to have a bike. Theft culture sux. I hate thieves.

Sounds like something out of horror story. Nothing will prepare u mentally for someone breaking into your home. Had it happened to me twice while I was away from home and another time faced down the barrel of a gun when I was working. All I can say is I strongly suggest you stay armed, even if it's for peace of mind.

Everyone should continuously update their safety procedures because as technology advances so does ways to hack or break the systems what was once lock picks is now computer programs or magnets, professionals will continuosly get access to anything out on the market and strip things down to barebones to find a way to gain access, when out it public every one should stay aware of their surroundings and form quick plans for emergencies I recently did an experiment in which I observed people just regularly doing their personal business at a mall and 90% to 99% failed were there were easy opportunities for pick pockets and other situations to happen.

This is so scary and it's so frustrating that the police really won't do anything even when you have evidence that someone is making you feel so unsafe. I've had this happen to me before at a convention, and the officer I spoke to looked more annoyed when I was crying and upset while telling him my story, like I was wasting his time. I'm Hispanic, disabled and a little person (4'7") so I have to be really careful now when I'm out and about, and I've even had to take precautions online to make sure those who know me irl do not leak my address, but like I shouldn't have to do that just to feel safe because those with ill intentions see someone like me as an 'easy' target.

Words can''t help me explain how much this hurts everyone. I'm not familiar with Camila, but hearing this is god awful. One person, ONE, straight up ruined it for absolutely everyone. Now it's best for indie vtubers or any vtubers now to be less likely to receive gifts from fans because of this situation. A fucking tracking device in a gift!? It's like a stab in the back! I'm gonna be honest I got finals for two classes and this really...is bringing me down. I wish her the best and hopefully her life gets better behind the camera.
