As someone who has traveled to the both Washintgon state and Maine by motorhome I totally understand why this is a joke to so many. As someone who was born in and still lives in Alabama, this isn't funny because this is just 1 out of every 4 people I know and see on a day-to-day basis IRL.

@freakymoejoe2 Several studies have shown that fat shaming and similar anti-fat discrimination both 1) significantly worsen the life quality of fat people and 2) does not lead to weight loss (some studies showing it being associated with weight gain). I understand that you enjoy shitting on people and "its for their own good" is a convenient excuse, but it's very obviously not the true motivation so just be upfront with it.
