@Excelsior !!! For one it was cringey as hell and makes the audience lose respect for the characters that are supposed to be likable. But it also doesn't add anything to the story since we all know they are part of a group that lives outside the law. How they get their tires is kind of irrelevant. And if it was an intro to the movie the whole films continuity would have been thrown out of sync.
