@@CyclingGuy I've been a bit too busy to catch much of it but I have a easier week ahead so I'll get back into the groove of 'important' stuff. 😉

Best Grand Tour of the decade because of mountains and hilly stages flat stages are boring 9 stages at tdf tdf so here is my best blue print for a Grand Tour 3 flat stages 2TT 6 Hilly Stages 1 Gravel 9 Mountains. Small mileage TT like the Vuelta this year

I think more Narvaez or Oscar Rodriguez in a break for Ineos
@CyclingGuy2 ай бұрын
Not excluded, yet it's looking as if the break will only form on the Puerto Mirador and I don't think they'll build a sufficient lead

Van Eetvelt will eat his opponents for lunch tomorrow🥇 I bet you didn't know because it wasnt anounced anywhere but Riccitello unfortunately crashed during stage 6 (Israel PT news on their website), which maybe explains why he lost time today ? Btw did you watch Deutschland tour and Avenir today ? I really enjoy those races because (young) riders are not affraid of trying things
@CyclingGuy2 ай бұрын
YEAH, go Lennert! I didn't watch the other races, yet followed the Druivenkoers a bit (which is just around the corner of where I live) which was won solo in spectacular style by an interesting youngster as well - Jelle Krijnsen (mark the name, he signed at Q36.5 as trainee)

@@CyclingGuy I followed the live stats you're lucky because sadly there's no coverage for this race !! Cobblestone, climbs, rain.. can only result to a great winner ! He recently won a stage in Denmark tour (not a simple breakaway win if I remember he attacked with 1 or 2 other riders at ~30km from the finish and managed to make it, brilliant rider. Today in Deutschland Archie Ryan accelerated with Nordhagen at 50km, got caught at 10km and accelerated again in the last climb and finished 3rd, not scared at all ! In the Avenir, top 10 riders planned something against Widar and Torres (1st and 2nd in GC and the strongest) : a 100km "breakaway" relegating Torres and Widar +5 and +7mins behind on the stage like wtf it was the "easiest" mountain stage. You should watch the profile of tomorrow stage in Avenir (crazy climb 😳)

@@greniermatteo2905 yes, it's nice, over 200k as well! Archie Ryan is one to watch for sure! And wow, 100k approach in to the Finestre, that's going to be fireworks!

My prediction is that Ben is going to lose the Vuelta by 1 second due to that idiotic early celebration during his solo stage win.

Roglic amanhã vai começar a remontada para ganhar tempo ao Oconnor
@CyclingGuy2 ай бұрын
I'm sure they'll try, yet they're not going to drop O'Connor tomorrow, and fighting for bonification seconds is a waste of time IMO, if I were them, I'd sit tight and try to wear O'connor out on one of the big stages, such as the one one Sunday - if he breaks there, he could loose minutes in 1 stage. Let's see ey, Sunday should be good
