I’m a deaf photographer from Houston, TX It’s sometimes hard to deal with other photographers & many other kind of artists or the hearing world in general and I often rejected from almost everything just cause I can’t hear as well as other ppl and that’s ok cause it just means it’s not for me and I don’t have to/need to/won’t change for anything and anyone. I come from Canada and live in a small town of primarily white people - although, a pretty rad place called Nelson, BC. Growing up fully immersing myself (as a white male) in black culture from afar and delving deep into the cultures of hip hop, donks, and basketball (played college ball in Canada). These segments having heavily influenced my life and everything I do to this day and I am so thankful for that. And honestly man your authentic creativity for me brings all those things full circle.
