There's over a dozen slug manufacturers out there. I've tried almost every one to see what each air rifle likes. I've come to the conclusion that you have to decide what is acceptable accuracy at your chosen distances. Note: Some of the newer slugs are much improved and the result is the older slugs you liked end up staying in the closet . It's a vicious cycle... The good news is NOW you can choose from a wide variety of diameters which were not available in the past. My parameters on all my air rifles is same hole at 30 yards and touching at 50 yards and at 1000fps plus But that's me and I'm a hunter not a bench shooter. I do shoot a lot of paper to keep me and the rifle tuned. LOL

Sweet, yep always new ammo which is a good thing. I will try the newer stuff and research what is working. That said, not really going to mess with the rifle too much until I gets some serious hours behind it. Thanks for watching.

Your advice seems very sound and wise for your predilection in shooting. Concerning the speeds to send the projectiles: Agree 1,000% and then some more !!! Stay well.

Can you show more footage of the airguns? The targets are interesting, but would love to see the Vulcan in action.Thank you.

Greetings. Have you tried lubing the pellets and slugs? Also, mayhap a combination of longer distances for better stabilization, higher speeds, or lower speeds might do better with certain projectiles. I shoot at higher speeds than 900 fps all the time in my Hubens, so I will shy from projectiles that will not tolerate 950 to 1000 fps. Last, my groups at 50 to 65 yds. are usually 1/4 MOA when calm weather blesses my range, those groups at 100 yds. are 3/4 MOA if no swirling winds are present. Thank you for the great video, the hard work and fine filming. Stay well.

all good points. My goal of the video was to show just out of the box accuracy nothing modified so I think it does really well for what it is. Those small improvements will help.

Great comparison, as far as noise level goes (spring pinging noise and muzzle bark), is the .30 significantly louder than the .22? How does the noise compared to something something like the FX Impact MK2/MK3?
@ShootingTargets727Ай бұрын
THe fx is much more reserved in the ping and humming. There is a anti-pinger that you can install. The gun is built heavier. Id say its close to the FX impact but you will notice it is louder to shoot next to year ear for sure.

Enjoy watching your video and learning more about the sport. Do you know what the power and shot count is on the 30 cal and the same with the 25. Keep them coming
@ShootingTargets727 Жыл бұрын
out of the box, remember 300 bar fill not 250, each gun is giving over 60 shots... .30 cal is 96 fpe 60 grain at 858 fps. .25 cal 36 grain, 950 fps for 72 fpe... Thanks for watching...

From the way i saw it on the vid some of the slugs were slapping the target not hitting nose on but sliding to hit side ways keep up the great work/vids. :)

Really liked your video, especially the .22 V3-700 . How do you feel about that loud pinging noise? Has it diminished the more you shoot it, or is it still pretty loud and annoying? Thanks, Eddie-Eduardo
@ShootingTargets727 Жыл бұрын
Nope I think the ping might of lessen up a bit. They did send an anti pinger with the rifle not installed it but this is a larger bigger tougher rifle than the FX rifles so you know it just a bit more powerful.

Hello! How many shots do you make per fill, what is the speed and what is the weight pellets or slugs. What is the pressure on a regulator? I am asking for .30 caliber.
@ShootingTargets727 Жыл бұрын
Hey, so I shot everything for 44 grains to 60 grains. 44gn pellets way too fast at like 1030 or so. The 60 grain slugs were at 863 to 875. Reg pressue was around 150 to 175ish dont quote me on that but it was factory set. Shot count not sure yet still testing these rifles stay tuned

I think it is a very excellent rifle. How much is it? Do you recommend it for hunting at distances of 100 meters to 130 meters ? 22 caliber? For hunting birds approximately 5 cm in diameter. Approximately 2 inches. Please answer my question

Awesome shooting! I can't belive those pellets didn't go in one little tiny hole hahaha kidding... I can't speak on .22 however the best 100 yard group I have ever shot was with 44g hybrids at 1000fps unfortunately they just open up way too much at 150/200 plus. I shot a 200 yard group today with my .25 think I'm going to post it up as My first ever KZbin video haha... it's nowhere near the quality you put put out. But it will give guys an idea of what a .25 v3 can do at distance.
