Stratton's pancake playing truly is intriguing, as it shows his strong influences of the classic, minimalist pancake funk- (otherwise known as punk) players of the 70s and 80s (duh). His punctuated, accentuated, right hand also shows that his style clearly stems from the European pancake-drumming style of the classical virtuosos: Paul von pannekoeke and Ludwig af bätter to name a few. Great work at inspiring the younglings of this generation and perfectly capturing this almost forgotten art, Mr. Stratton. Hats of to you sir!
