@@enzSa stern is that capital city with modern techs and stuff. It’s the next destination after you finish the tournaments in anika. If you’re trying to get to t2 now, then you’re way ahead of me lol.

@@enzSa idk if you're still stuck but Stern is the capital city in Arthetine. Pretty much what I did to progress is do your daily chaos dungeons and guardian raids, these will give you the required mats to hone your gear. Although not important, getting your tier 1 epic and legendary gear is pretty nice since it gives extra stat boosts. All in all, you need +15 honing on all of your gear to reach item level 600, with this method in a sense. I got to tier 2 and well on way to tier 3 but its a pain in the ass loll. Do Una's tasks since they do give a good amount of leapstones for upgrading as well. Arkesia coin event is happening so you can get plenty of mats for tier 1.

@@King-2077 complete stern and go to Vern, from the story quests there you’ll get your first awakening skill and your hidden skill for your class(I. e. for bard it’s guardian tune). I mean he tells everything about it in the video(the first few minutes at least)

If you have time, I recommend the Collectables Quests from the Newcomer Guide. Not only do you get free rewards, the islands have quests that give you mats. I was able to level to around 560 just doing those.

Dude this video has helped me immensely... you have no idea. I got to level 50, and I was actually contemplating just turning the game off and saying screw it (even though I’ve really been enjoying it!).. that’s how overwhelmed I was. So many different currencies, activities, quests, adventure guides, the sailing, the islands, island tokens, the compass, the una’s tasks, it was like never ending. I honestly didn’t know where to begin, and having everything simplified and explained in such a short condensed video is a god send. Maybe it’s not so bad for other players, but with this being my first MMO (I literally only play souls and soulslike games, PvP FPS’s, and Smite) I was legit getting a headache trying to interpret everything and get some sort of system going. Now it’s just a matter of figuring out how to manage my overflowing stash.. lmao. But yeah, with all that said.. I just want to say; THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video and especially for making it extremely easy to follow and comprehend when compared to other videos I’ve checked out.

Should note on the “missing days mechanic” (Rest Bonus) for Chaos Dungeons and Guardian Raids - they stack up to 5 days and make a run drop double loot for each day you miss. Each run you miss gives you 10 rest bonus, missing your 2 daily runs gives you 20, missing 5 days caps you out at 100 Rest Bonus. When you get in to play, each double loot run will consume 20 Rest Bonus until you hit 0, then it’s back to normal.

Still grateful that upgrading the gears in LA only fails, no downgrading or breaking the item, unlike from other MMO I played which was Cabal, upgrading is really hard.

You know something, I've experienced levelling and for a start from Anikka you are directed over to Arthetine, not Sushire. It ended up feeling unnatural to drop everything and go to Vern (to unlock at least Una) and apparently after Arethine Vern is next anyway. Dudes I recommend following the storyline on your first run through - coming across everything fresh and new to yourself is better - the game does a good job of giving you guiding quests.

maining Sorceress in pvp is hard but really fun when you start getting better and outplaying the opponents. Team Deathmatch is really where you'll have the most fun if you're Sorceress main

I started playing the game 10 days ago, I’m lvl52 in full +15 Epic 1320 gear, I’m 1370.00 😎. Once weekly reset is over I’ma run for a few pieces of Legendary. Then again they give new players a lot of catch up stuff but 1100 was a bitch to get to.

Returning player here. Lost ark is a hard game to grasp and I left around lvl 52, so I needed to remind myself some stuff again. I just wanted to share my hatred towards the guardian raids n abyssal dungeons. Guardian raids arent too hard, just a little annoying, but oh boy do the abyssal dungeons make my blood boil. Not even lying when I say I took HOURS to do it alone, then gave up and went to a disc server to find some guys... safe to say, even with vc its hella hard to coordinate with your team and its better to just continue chaos dungeons.. unless you have a reason to break your desk.

im just glad your gear doesnt get downgraded a tier like BDO for failing an upgrade. that is just heartwrenching going for tet or pen with massive stacks just to downgrade your gear and have to build a smaller stack so you dont waste your massive pen stacks can take weeks to do.

8:30 no. You get double loot but not 4 runs. There is no limit on how often you can run chaos dungeons, the rewards however change after the daily 2 runs.

Really frustrating that the main quests did not get me to item level 250, so I'm just running around trying to figure out what I need to do to get high enough to start doing chaos dungeons for better gear.

The key is to stick with only main quests while leveling. By the time you open up chaos dungeons, you'll be over 250ilvl. However, in the grand scheme, it's not a big deal. Just keep doing the main quest. You'll get there. You need to finish it anyway and completion nets you your first set of 302 gear regardless.

The additional skill and awakening will appear once you hit 50. You will see a guide quest with the word Awakening in brackets. The second awakening skill is a little tricky. That appears after you finish Rohendal and accept the quest "Strange Mail"

So far all I've understood is that this game is a long drawn boring main story until lvl 50 and ilvl 460. Then the end game content opens up. However, even if lost ark is a beautiful game esthetically, the devs should do a lot better in explaining the relevance of items and how to use them, even how the economy/trading system works and what gathering materials are relevant both for your development and wallet. Anyone that knows any good websites that can guide you more specifically?

Not to mention 90% of the "progress" you make will end up being thrown in the trash by honing. People should be honest, it is fun, but it is also objectively a shyt game that would 100% be better fit in the phone game market. Lack of unique assests and gear to see and collect. Lack of lore and expanded lore. Lack of voice acting in the NA version. Lack of just about everything that makes a game even called a game pretty much. I am not saying it isn't worth playing, I log in daily to do my dailies and hope for a new expansion sooner than later, but at this point it is because I have to do it, not because I want to. It is fun, like a slip and slide is over rocks.....just kinda want a pool the whole time but when you miss those rocks, it can still be fun.

No, its not a hotkey. After you reach level 50 and get to Vern you will unlock all those things and dont worry the game will tell you what to do.

There are 4 other upgrades to increase your class skills and what not, like engravings. Gear upgrade is just 1 aspect of this game, fine tuning your skills and play style is a huge aspect of the game.

@@browsing_just its is P2W unfortunately,, there is why in ALL lostark video, all guide tell you to make an alt char, the only purpose of that alt is to collect extra material for enhancing your gear or to support your main char, you play 8 hour a day VS you work and use the money from that work to buy in game, your money from work probably worth 16-24 hours or even more grinding in game,, so now you see the truth. Edit : in short, the more money you put in, the more power you will get, compare with the more time you put in, yes you can play in game content with "half baked" equipment, but who want to form party with that player if there is many other player have full upgrade one, you not doing pvp all the time right?.

@@browsing_just Honing needs mats which you can buy in marni secret shop using crystal. Crystal is purchased by real money using royal crystal. When all of the mats had been sold out in marni secret shop, you can buy gold and buy infinite amount of mats in AH and spam your honing process. Give me 10000 dollar right now and I am guaranteed tier3 by next week. Btw I spent roughly 4 days to reach tier 3 and around $1500 (split between buying royal crystals and gold) so yeah the game is not p2w at all
