Hurricane Beryl caused the Manzanares River to overflow in the state of Sucre, severely affecting at least six towns.
As a result of the hurricane, at least five people have gone missing.
The disaster has caused widespread destruction, with approximately 6,000 homes damaged or destroyed.
Infrastructure has also been heavily impacted, with several roads and bridges rendered impassable.
Thousands of residents are currently displaced, and rescue operations are underway to provide aid and support to those affected.

Well placed air pumps at corners and low at the base of sand bags can also reduce impact an water pressure against the sand bags and walls and run more bubbles along it than water and also sink things that might hit higher than the sand bags along the base of walls... .. a foot or two out from the bags and a lot of air bubbles if the females have a way to get a water wheel and two or more piston pump to draw air from above.. And if not, I want my wives to have that as part of our flood protections systems and sand bags layout considerations.. the high side faces and corners. And just above the low side and middle so sand and heavy stuff drops around the low side . To help build up around the bases and prevents sliding and erosion of the base ..
