I don't blame them. You might be killed, and for what? You have no idea what's going on. It's possible you might detain Mr. madman only to have the other guy wake up and kill you because you have no idea what's going on. Or it's possible you will detain the madman until the cops arrive and then be sued by him. We live in a litigation nation. On the downside, many things could go wrong in that scenario with possible life changing effects and very little upside. Best course of action is to stay in your own lane. And I know "If you were the guy at the table with the broken nose you'd want help". I would try very hard not to get into that situation and never trust a stranger in the 1st place.

They are actors and being credible is their trade. However, I suspect that deep down you have to have some part, even infinitesimal, in common with characters that you play so well. This movie is a lesson to show those Karens out there who are flipping fingers, cursing, and testing men’s patience and taking their humbleness and respect as weakness, that there are some out there who are unhinged and broken and waiting for something which will trigger their real self. Stop being KAREN and drive humbly and respectfully. In fact there should be a sticker in the rear window saying “Unhinged” to keep reminding folks you don’t know who’s driving next to you 😊. They should show this movie in defensive driving to start with.
