Nice check sheet. Good idea. I just make notes then keep it all together. Then misplace later !!! Most places just do the standard measurements & cut the line bore. Nowadays - there is soooo much inconsistency in the bearings. I know a few people that set there cutters to the actual bearings being used. Otherwise you might have to use different bearings from several sets just to get a full set for one block Parts QA has really suffered. As if these engines aren't a pain to assemble & reassemble to make sure everything is working together. Not every single piece needs to be checked out.

hello, nice video and I like your diligence to do things right. I am just starting out getting into building VW engines and absolutely want to do this to the best of my ability and obviously knowledge is king.
