Great video Slade! Everyone, do yourselves a favor and buy the best quality beading that you can. It’s no fun having to trim out all of the holes. I used Wolfsburg West beading for my 63 and didn’t need to trim.

Thanks man. I didn't think about tightening bolts as I put the bead on. Have to redo a fender or two because the beads look uneven but I'm probably the only one who can really tell.

Thanks for the video... I bought white beading from cip1 it should look nice, but it's not even cut. Good thing i saved my old fender beading to trace... .still a hassle 😪 🙃

Greg Logan Sadly only Wolfsburg West seems to sell the ones that are perfectly cut. Lesson learned for me. Just take your time and do it the way I did it, you’ll be good! Thanks for being here Greg!!!

The 73 super beetle that I was redoing that you are watching, was a little bit of older videos. I was using tail lights from the 68, so if yours look like those, you need different ones than what I’m going to show you. I’d rather fab 36884679764449 parts from raw sheet metal than install fender beading😂....get one side in and front pops out, holes don’t line up, gotta lay upside down and backwards to tighten fender...you did well esp being on film doing it😂👍
