VW Golf 2.0 GTI MK5 -When Small Problem becomes Very Big! Spark plug change becomes engine rebuild

I decided to change the spark plugs on my MK5 Golf GTI as the car wasn't running quite right. I was easily able to remove 2 of them, the third was tricky but eventually came out but the fourth was spinning in the tube. This is what happened next!
