Thank you for your valuable video. Will freon gas leak when replacing the solenoid valve? Is it necessary to extract freon gas before replacing the solenoid valve? Please answer

hello can you help me please! the hose of the ac compressor exploded because of the fuse number F8, do you mind if I start the car and use it? If the compressor is without oil, will it fail?

My compressor make strange revs noise: when blower fan slow speed, and when car drive slow also then compressor will follow the revs of the engine and give revs noise. WHY.... Can you help me on this?
@teravolt61135 жыл бұрын
Is it a deep groaning noise? If you have the correct refrigerant charge and the solenoid valve is performing ok, and you get perfect cooling, then it's the normal noise any variable displacement compressor not equipped with a suction shutoff valve makes when it's pumping at low displacement due to a low evaporator heat load. The noise travels to the evaporator and it's caused by rapid pressure oscillations created by the pistons moving back and forth in a very short stroke. Apart from the ambient temperature, the evaporator heat load decreases whenever you lower the blower speed or increase the temperature setting.

Sorry to say this but , where is your common sense to don't put any protection on the working surface !

What is the failure when this valve is damaged?
@dsimondublin4 жыл бұрын
When valve fails wont open so freon does not circulate through system. Thus ac blows hot air. If plunger is working ac will circulate freon. Simple test to know weather compressor is bad $300+ or solenoid is bad $30 part

No compressor oil?
@teravolt61135 жыл бұрын
If you keep the valve sticking up when you remove and replace it there's no need to replace the oil. However, the valve o-rings must be lubed with the same compressor oil (doesn't have to be the Sanden SP-10 oil; any double end capped PAG 46 oil is enough); also, it's a good idea to empty the compressor of any old oil through the oil drain hole and then replace it with the same quantity of fresh oil (again, any double end capped PAG 46) anytime the compressor is pulled off the vehicle. Remembering to turn the compressor shaft (rotate the pulley in this case) by hand 10 times before starting the engine, and also turn AC on with maximum cold, maximum fan speed and all vents open before turning the engine on, and letting it stay this way keeping the engine at idle for 5 minutes, to circulate the oil.

@@teravolt6113 what does this solenoid do ?? i couldn't find an explanation online can you help me ? thanks

@@intellectracoon The solenoid routes refrigerant through the compressor in a certain way as to keep the swashplate at a certain angle.

@@teravolt6113 I've recently replaced the compressor and condenser and cleaned up the system and they pressure tested it but am having a problem and that is if the ambient temperature increases my AC goes off as if that the compressor is disconnected but when I cool the condenser with water it becomes cold again here the ambient temperatures ranges from 45 to 55 Centigrade can this solenoid be the reason of this issue , Thanks a lot for your help I've been to at least 6 shops in here and they don't know what's wrong.
@teravolt61135 жыл бұрын
@@intellectracoon Tells me you have some condenser airflow issue. Try cleaning it, packing the edges between the radiator and condenser with foam and checking if the cooling fan/condenser fan is working properly. I think these cars were made for European enviromental conditions, not tropical ones, by the way
